I don't understand why some Seahawk's fans can't except people don't look at Russell as elite. He's a good QB and he fits the Seahawks perfectly.

It's almost like you want to discredit the defense in order to put Russy up there with the Brady's, Mannings, etc.

russ isn't elite....yet. you see flashes of him having the potential to be elite in the future though. people forget, partially because of his success so far and luck putting up crazy numbers, both QBs are only in their 3rd year.. they have a long ways to go to being a finished product.

People discredit the Seahawks defense, and put Russell up there with Brady/Payton? Those 7 reps should be -17

Back to the defense, and part of what I said yesterday.....

We all saw on the broadcast how Seattle is the first Def since the 85-86 Bears to lead the league in fewest yards and points in back to back years.

On top of that, they beat Brees and Manning last year
And Rodgers-Brady (if they win) this year.

They become the greatest Defense that any of us know of from 1980 on. (I don't know enough about the Steel Curtain)

But in this modern pass happy era, what the Seattle Defense is doing is otherworldly. Not to mention Earl out there with a broken shoulder, and Sherman out there with one arm. Just absurd. :x

5 Turnovers by Seattle, and the MVP QB in his prime only mustered 5 FG's and 1 TD. Insane. :x

Catching up on the last few pages, goodness.

Good thing the Colts and Seahawks isn't the Super Bowl matchup, be having these Wilson/Luck debates for two weeks straight.

I think some of Andrew Luck's turnover contribute to the Colts defense giving up points

But yes the Seahawks defense is better than the Colts defense

Andrew Luck INT's yesterday came with the score 31-7, and 45-7.

It was 31-7 before Andrew Luck had a turnover. And you in here, today, talkin about ******* turnovers by Luck, when you're guy had FOUR, and the Packers only had 19 points to that point of the ball game????????

Even with that horrible game

He still has 8 less turnovers than Luck in one more game

My guy?

Hey friendly, look at these picks, in just a couple years, that all have become huge contributors to their team.

Wouldn't it be nice if other teams could have that kind of success drafting? :nerd:

Yes they have drafted well, teams have not drafted well for a few years and been the successful for a short period of time

Granted if you draft well, you should be able to sustain success longer

You're starting to sound like those dudes who blame Kobe for being gifted to the Lakers
