So much real estate in front of him and he slides like there's 30 seconds left

so ******* stupid. i would be sick if i were a GB fan

Burnett gave the ball back to his offense, Peppers even signaled for him to go down. Hell twitter bombed when that Dallas defensive lineman got stripped while trying to run. Even Going back to when Marlon McCree got stripped after an int against the Patriots years ago. Sure Burnett could've run for more yards but he also could've gotten stripped. Plus as I added the Packers ran into the line 3 times so clearly they were putting the game into the hands of the defense instead of into the hands of the best QB in football in Rodgers. I'm not gonna blame Burnett for doing his job.

i think out of all the packer miscues, the burnett thing is pretty low on the totem pole.

bostick
2 pt conversion
conservative as **** play calling in the 2nd half

all rank ahead IMO
I totally disagree with the first two because if Burnett wouldn't have slid, chances are those two things never happen.

A few things.....

Peppers signaling for him to go down doesn't make it the correct play.  All it does is take the "you made a stupid play" label off Burnett and spread it around to his teammates as well.

Sure, Burnett could have gotten stripped.  But clearly, since he already had sliding in his mind, he probably could have done his slide 30 yards down the field.  There were no Seahawks even close to him.

Even if the whole running the ball three times in a row playcalling remained the exact same, how do you fail to see the difference between the results of doing so on your own 40 yard line and the opponents 30 yard line?

totally see your point. but what's the guarantee that any points come out of burnett advancing the ball? even if he runs it another 20 yards, still a long a FG. maybe he takes it further. lot of if's there.

bostick had a clean shot at the ball and had it in both hands. major fail on a play that TRULY would have ended the game had he secured the ball.

the 2pt conversion...how clinton-dix just watches the guy is beyond me. hack the hell out of him and force them to line up again, at minimum.

I consider ol boy sliding after he caught that interception a questionable call/decision. Karma baby

Julius Peppers waved to him to slide to avoid potential contact. Don't understand the logic behind it.

Why? Fans fighting in a parking lot over a game? Stupid

If dude runs twenty yards and gets out of bounds, game over.
Revis was trying to house the pick he got and they were ahead by three scores at the time.

Has anyone asked McCarthy why that tight end wasn't told to let Nelson catch the onside kick?
Can't remember what game it was, but our back up tight end Gavin Escobar let an onside kick go right through his hands.
The other team recovered but they were offsides and had to rekick.
Tried it again and Dez was their instead of Escobar, and he just snatched it out the air with a disgusted look on his face.

the plan was for Bostick to block so Jordy could catch it. McCarthy was asked and basically threw the kid under the bus for not executing the game plan

DeadsetAce DeadsetAce that boy Bostick was in the huddle thinking to himself, "they got me messed up if they think I'm not getting my shine on"

Considering the number of balls Jordy Nelson dropped yesterday, he might have dropped the onside kick too.
Did Bostick even touch the ball with his hands?
I know he headbutted the ball, but did his hands as much as graze the ball?

You don't understand the logic behind it?

The dude thought he had a game clinching turnover. He was wrong.

But not understanding to go down instead of potentially giving it back and have you saying how he shoulda went down after is not hard to understand.

This second guessing sports viewing culture is just too much sometimes. Mogs are making decisions within split seconds to have dudes on couches waiting to see what

happens then declaring what the right move woulda been.

(I had no horse in the race)

The man had a ton of room to run. But that's just me...
