That's true but Lynch is a much bigger factor in their offense than Percy was. I wouldn't be surprised though if they don't want him back either, they made that much clear enough before the season started  .

I'd love to hear how Hawks fans feel about Turbin and Michael and if they'd be able to take over that work load.

I think that they'd form a very potent timeshare, and Michael really has some game breaking play making ability.

But man, the way Lynch runs, his grit and determination, his fight. His whole attitude toward the game, that's a part of this team's identity.

You've got Wilson as the leader, a humble young man who is very personable and great with the media,

you've got Sherman who is the outspoken, brash, in your face leader of the defense,

and then you've got Mr. I'm Just About That Action Boss, Marshawn Lynch who lets his play say everything there needs to be said for him.

He has the ability to ignite the offense and motivate the team unlike any one player on the Seahawks. They can be down multiple scores and all it'll take is one Lynch beastquake run to totally change the momentum of the game and bring Seattle right back to life.

And that's an intangible you can't really replace. You can't just go out and draft that, you can't just groom Michael to be that, you can't go sign someone else to do that.

So yeah, his production might be able to be replicated, but what he brings to the team really cannot.

If Seattle is smart they trade Michael while he's still thought of as a valuable, high-upside commodity and do everything in their power to retain Lynch.

The Seahawks should not re-sign Marshawn Lynch, he's about to hit the wall

The zone read is masking the inevitable decline of a workhorse back

doubt it. Melvin aint going past AZ..

Ellington is just fine, what they need to address is that run blocking, they really struggled to open up holes for Ellington despite being a very good pass blocking unit.

Though I wouldn't be surprised if they went Melvin.

:rolleyes

What wall bruh?

He was great last season, he's even better this season.

Dude has shown zero signs of slowing down, quite the opposite actually, he's IMPROVED his game. Dude is an even better receiver out of the backfield now than he has ever been, dude looks straight up Forte-esque out there at times.

Guy has displayed freaky durability, a quality that is RARE when talking about the RB position, and he does it by being THE most physical RB in the league.

So does Forsett give the Ravens a discount or does he shop the market and cash in on his break out season with a potentially richer deal elsewhere?

I'm thinking the latter.

What a year for UC Berkeley guys.....Lynch, Forsett & Anderson, sheesh.

Got to cash in

Forsett isn't getting a big deal, the RB position is expandable as all hell and teams know what he is

dude will be 30 next season, he will get a 2 year deal which favors the team to cut him in year two

a comment I saw on a Vince Wilfork article, people really are special

Doesn't anyone find it ODD that the worthless patriots all of a sudden got professional on the 2001 Super bowl time frame and all of a sudden they're a name brand home team after 9/11??? geeze doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out, they had help with winning.
