Honestly I'd give him at least one more year if not two. He will figure it out

Word, Manziel definitely is a bust. I prefer to move on without him on our roster in 2015..

This is why the Browns suck

Impatience at its finest

Yall already used a first round pick on him, you might as well play and built around the dude for one season.....Not just 2 games

Just a week ago Brady was mocking the Ravens for not "knowing the rules". He knows to the extent how he likes his footballs but cant tell if its how he likes it?
Ahh...finally something worth chewing on.

Like I said in my previous post, I think Brady lied in his PC. He knows how he wants those footballs for his own comfort, as does every other QB that "doctors" them. Eli Manning literally has a ritual that goes on for months before they get used in games. I posted the Nantz & Simms quotes from the Packers vs. Patriots game that the entire country didn't give a **** about.

I have no way to prove this, but my spicy hot take personal opinion is the Patriots got one upped in gamesmanship at the coaching level. We all know there's no love lost between anyone involved with the Ravens & Patriots. The ineligible receiver thing that Bill played around with CLEARLY tweaked John Harbaugh. He threw a fit on the field and was flagged. John explained why he reacted that way post-game and didn't like Belichick going into the "gray area" again (even though it's legal).

Brady was told of Harbaugh's comments and said, "maybe those guys need to check the rule book over again". Harbaugh or someone on his staff is livid, and during the following week someone reaches out to the Colts org (Pagano used to be a Raven) and tells them to stick the Pats for deflated footballs since they want to flaunt the rule book on AND off the field.

If that's more or less how it went, then I don't have an issue with how the Ravens or Colts handled it. Ravens got caught with their pants down and got a finger wagging after the game from the Pats side. All they did was return the favor in their own way to a rival. Pats are scrambling to not look bad in this, but all they can do is charge it to the game since perspective & timing ain't in their favor.

The Colts were the ones to call it out, but notice how no one on their side is making a big fuss over it. They've taken the high road.

Harbaugh's comments at the Pro Bowl made it pretty clear where he stood on this.

Kinda hard to build around a guy that doesn't take the job seriously IMO. I really think it's the reason why kyle left, no way do you hitch your career to that guy and become the scapegoat when it hits the fan.

Didn't harbaugh say he didn't notice anything about the footballs?

I hear you, but why build around someone if they aren't going to put the work in on & off the field though?

I feel like they should have never thrown manziel out there in the middle of the season. They should have started him from the jump. Throwing up out there in the middle of the season was lame

If manziel started from day one, their season would've been a lot worse IMO.

We are talking about the browns tho. Its not like hoyer was cassel in NE. Hoyer..manziel..idk

Publicly, yes. There was also some **** about the Ravens players saying their footballs felt off, but that wouldn't make sense with how the story is being presented. Just goes to show how much nonsense is flying around from "unnamed sources" at this time.

Most fans of garbage *** teams would surrender a testicle to have had seen their team go to 7 SB's in their lifetimes, regardless of the amount of bull-**** and hate the team garners.
"YEAH, YOUR TEAM IS SUCCESSFUL...SO DEAL WITH THE LYNCH MOB **** OF DUDES W/ PAST AGENDAS. SHUT UP AND LIKE IT."

Okay, man. I don't want any trouble. Please don't hurt me.
it's a story because they got caught cheating before
Basically. People are looking for ways to crucify them over an issue from 2007. If everything that was alleged about Spygate was true, then it's straight up slimy ****, and I've never stood up for that. But this is an isolated issue with DOCUMENTED cases of precedent from a handful of QB's in other organizations and levels of football. Sorry, but no one can wave a magic wand and ignore Rodgers, Eli, Leinart, Brad Johnson, Simms, etc.

To me, it's telling that damn near all the neutral observers in here with no previous ill will or anything like that towards the Pats agree that this is all some dumb **** ever. The loudest people on it are the ones who had some type or beef or agenda before this week. It's funny how that works...

The recent science segments prove there isn't 'eem a negligible advantage. Our OWN EYES told us while watching the 1st half & 2nd half of the Colts game. Past articles & clips of current & former QB's detailing their own way of doctoring footballs for their own comfort. Yet NONE of that matters because the NFL's mysterious boogeyman is involved and thus emotional conjecture > rational thoughts.

I'm not going at your neck or anything... I just learned to block out any complaining from pats fans a long time ago.

LMAO @ how ESPN continues to conflate the issues.

It's a non story folks.  It's a $25,000 fine if there's ever any proof that anything actually happened.  The Colts' CB story was a hoax.  Ask yourselves, what do we really know?  It's purely conjecture at this point.  Personally I'd love it if the refs screwed the pooch on this one.  Still, people want the blood of B&B.  The mob is out on a witch hunt; that's for sure.  But wasn't Brady's press conference punishment enough?  Would be interesting if the NFL knew the refs screwed up and are now freely allowing the Pats to get stuck in the cross-hairs.  IMO all this draft pick and retirement and lost honor talk is for sad lonely people.  On the plus side this is like a natural selection for the crazy people. If you’re still legitimately talking about Deflategate in a non mocking way, you’re a crazy person, plain and simple. All that is left is people who think the Patriots should be kicked out of the Super Bowl, men crying over footballs, people who think the whole thing is a conspiracy, and Sal Pal talking about Ugg boots. It’s essentially last call at the bar and only the black out drunks are still stumbling around. All the normal people have long gone home.

@fraij da 5 11

I don't ever take anything personal in here, bro. At the end of the day, it's all entertainment and we're all just shootin' the ****. I just wish people always kept it 100 regardless of how they feel about a team, player, city, etc. That's all I ever ask. *shrugs*

Am I the only one that though Brady's press conference was a man in disbelief that he was being accused for doing something that not only he didn't do, but so ridiculously minuscule compared to the way the media was treating it?

The atypical way he handled the press conference when you compare his demeanor to the demeanor he has in normal ones was because he was half-laughing on the inside at the scene before him, half feeling the need to defend himself because he realized the mob of reporters were going for his neck looking for self-admittance and apology over something he didn't do?

I think brady has been doing this for a long time bit its never been an issue. Just like pine tar in baseball. Everyone has their little things they do and numerous quarterbacks have come out recently and stated so

i've learned to never take anything the Ravens organization and players ***** about seriously. it's non stop from them. before the game. during the game. after the game. everything is always a conspiracy with those chicks.
