Johnny getting a first round grade was a joke....they picked apart teddy and dropped his stock and he was a way better prospect than Johnny

If Johnny was anybody else he would've been forced to change his position prior to the draft ...

I don't buy it one bit...

Outside of the Browns, who else was gonna take him in the first round?

Same franchise that drafted a 36 year old Brandon Weeden and Trent Richardson in the same year when they had 2 picks.

FWIW, to me, he was a much better prospect at QB than Tebow. He played his *** off at TAMU and put the team on his back in many big situations.

I'm not excusing anything because he was/is a project. It's much too soon to write him off. He's got a lot going against him right now, but let's give it some time before we proclaim him to be out of the league.

@stillin...

No. I said it last year I'll repeat it now, he didn't do things that translates to being a productive NFL qb, Heisman or not..

Jason white, Tebow Troy Smith all win Heisman's. So miss me with that award when evaluating for the NFL... It means nothing to me. Mariotta another big number college guy that won't translate...

Some people believe his race and wealth played apart in his hype.. Some don't... I for one think it did... If he wasn't 'johnny football' he wouldn't of went first round.just my opinion..

No big deal if we disagree... It happens...

Johnny Manizel had help at Texas A&M in Mike Evans....The same guy who is ballin in Tampa Bay

Kevin Sumlin also has a history of producing great college quarterbacks

I dont think Johnny Manziel was a first round talent, when you consider everything

Rather than saying it over and over, explain what you mean. Because there are a lot of guys who ride a hype train into the first round who have no business being there. He's polarizing because of his persona and how he plays the game. He rubs a lot of folks the wrong way. This is EXACTLY why you have people happy to see his downfall. **** is crazy.

*edit*

Mr. Marcus...his measurables were in question from day 1. Teddy got raked over the coals, but so did Manziel. The pick by the Browns was met with A LOT of criticism.

PREACH! Manziel needs to send Evans 35% of every dollar he earns off his rookie contract. Evans bailed him out of so many bonehead throws.

Manziel entering rehab is one of the most mature things he's done so far in the NFL.

Shows he actually gives a **** about football despite what others think.

or he popped positive on a test and is trying to beat the bad press w/ a PR move

I'm not saying if Manziel was broke, he wouldn't be a first rounder. I think it was a desperate move by CLE. You asked why he's hated, I told you why I don't like the guy. If he was poor and black, he would have been cut by now. That's it. Not trying to talk race in this thread.

Thanks to the guy that posted the Revis interview, about to watch now.

Is that really BB and his daughter? Whoa :x :x

Kinda true.  He knew he had a problem, but he didn't wanna accept it.

This offside blitz is a step by his PR team to come clean because he was gonna be exposed.  Him and Gordon can be rehab buddies.  Relapse dough.

Good point. I don't even really believe he needs rehab. He just needs a nice dose of maturity fed to him, and if that would require him going to rehab - than great.

He isn't some hardcore drug addict, or even an alcoholic. I just thinks a very irresponsible person, who fails to prioritize. You can still go out, grab drinks, stay out til 2:30 in the morning and still make it to practice or walk-thru's on time. Sports players do it all the time, and still make it to their appointments. Johnny Manziel didn't.
