Pot is legal in Washington and Colorado.

But not in the NFL...

All of our employers have rules and if we want to get a check we follow those rules. If you don't like the rules you can go work somewhere else. If Gordon thinks he can make NFL money smoking weed in Colorado and Washington more power to him.

GOAT

:pimp:

Nowhere in my statements have I "caped" for Josh Gordon

I've said if you are wasting all this time on a drug testing infrastructure, you can at least try to treat the players addiction.

Doesn't mean ****. if i fail a drug test at work i get fired on the spot. If anything Gordon is lucky his employer gives him suspensions instead

I live in washington if it matters

That thing is, he doesn't seem to think he can make NFL money smoking weed. Yes he may complain about the unbalanced penalties Goodell hands down, but if you read his letter you can tell he knows he made a mistake with the whole drinking on the plane situation. He wouldn't take the time to open up to us the way he did if he didn't give a damn about the NFL. The guy rarely speaks to the media.

I'm curious how many of yall are subject to random drug testing at your job

It sucks and feels invasive

(Raises hand)

And drugs would most likely have little affect on my perfomance, especially pot

So you get tested for all drugs randomly multiple times a year and you don't work with the government or around children?

who cares. if they don't want random testing for weed they can negotiate it with their union. Same thing we did at my job

Lets not forget that players are only randomly tested for recreational drugs during the off season, unless they have already failed a test

why is it so hard to understand....a company has a rule about drugs. done deal. if you have an issue with getting drug tested randomly, find a new job that doesn't test. simple. it's a free country.

i used to get tested yearly at my last two jobs. client facing. non government and no children.
