Barry was great to watch, it's a shame he had garbage around him pretty much his entire career

to me it's hard to categorize Faulk because he was a hybrid RB which the NFL hadn't really seen too much of but he was damn special when he got the ball

Thurman Thomas

Thing I loved the most about TO is he talked cash **** and backed it up every week.

Dude had no chill but he delivered every week.

biggest home run threat sure but best rb Nah...too many negative runs....
... Barry was not the best back..

Emmitt was easily a better overall back . ..ill even take lt over barry as well...

best all purpose back I've seen was Faulk...

man today is the 10 year anniversary of that Super Bowl :smh:

McNabb throwing the INT and getting off because of flag then throwing an INT again was the dagger before halftime

I forget Dorsey Levens was on that squad :lol:

It was an epic performance from TO too...it's a damb shame :smh:. The secondary that year was real too

I got marshall as my no. 1

and man what could have been with TO.. also have to factor in westbrook getting hurt every year before the playoffs

Some use Stick Em, some have it innately :smokin

My favorite jersey of all-time right there. That entire uniform is :pimp: though.

Too damn clean. :smh:

It occurred to me, I have my own personal belief in Greatest all time QB, WR, and TE.

But not RB. :frown:

I need to hash out who was the best at that spot.

QB = Marino
WR = Moss
TE = Gates

RB = ?

My short list, Barry, LT, Faulk, Emmitt.

Barry is the greatest RUNNER I've ever seen, but not the "overall" back like the other 3.

Emmitt had some dominant Olines, and talent around him. (Including defense that can hold lead, let RB's chew more clock.)

I kinda think I lean LT. I wouldn't be upset with Faulk, but I think LT is the best I've seen.

Don't know enough on Payton, OJ or Jim Brown.

I do know this, had there been no baseball, and no injury, Bo Jackson would have been the greatest, hands down. He as a full time NFL RB would have murdered the record books.

So there's my complete list.

Marino, Moss, Gates, LT.

I hear ya though. RB is hard because there can be so much variance with each great back.

Greatest pure running back (going by some definition of what a running back originated as, I suppose I mean) is easy for me though -- Adrian Peterson. I won't ever disagree with Walter or Barry though.

All-around? Toss up between Faulk and LT. Personally I go with LT though.

Ken Norton to Oaktown... I like it.

Hopefully next season my Raiders make big strides towards the playoffs. It's about time the power in the AFC West shifts :tongue:

Dolphins, Packers, 49ers new alternate jerseys/ uniforms next season

Browns will have alternate jerseys in addition to their new uniforms

Agree,

Would have loved to se Jim Brown play though. His stats are other worldly considering he only played 9 seasons

LT and Faulk were

I am a Univ. of Miami football fan and that takes me back to Edgerrin James in Indy days.

I can agree with Faulk/LT combo for all around RB

Barry/Emmitt/AD for pure RB

There were so many good old school ones that were before I could really know and appreciate football though.

Jim Brown

Gale Sayers

Walter Payton

O.J. Simpson

Still haven't put Thurman Thomas, Herschel Walker, or Bo Jackson on here either.

Also, with the RB and Randy Moss posts in here....who remembers when Robert Smith just retired out of the blue? Dude used to run so smooth and effortlessly with the Vikings

Oh yes. Personal favorite, of course. Ran like a deer. Very underrated during his time. He's an intelligent dude. I'm glad he's still around the game and on TV.

Shaun had like 2-3 good years and 1 amazing year in Seattle. I don't think he should really be up there for GOAT status.

The irony in that post,still in your feels I take it :lol:

Beast Mode > Shaun Alexander

I got Barry at #1

Moss is also at #1

Rice is great. He admitted to cheating, people think Moss is dumb but he would never admit to that even if he did.
