Just months ago eagles fans were saying McCoy Is the best in the league, now they are defending the trade :lol:

yo real talk **** chipwich for doing this trade this year and not last year when i owned shady. still mad this lunchbox cost me a championship with 3 straight vultures when i needed only 2 points to win.
 
I get some Philly fans being upset at the moment, but it's really not a bad trade at all. $12M for (at best) the #3 RB in the league is a wild stretch in this current landscape. And if Marshawn returns, he ain't seeing that figure either on AAV so there's that.

ILB was a legit need for Philly. Saved a bunch of money w/ plenty of cheaper options at RB in draft or FA that will fit in Chip's system.

I will dead *** post a rolling smiley every day in this offseason thread if the Bills sign Mark Sanchez. Rex ain't THAT dumb.

Shady was not going to be an Eagles past this year with that contract and he already said he wouldn't take a pay cut

If Chip plans to go and get MM8 then you build for the future and you do that by getting rid of players who make too much money and will be on the back end when you are ready to contend

It's not rocket science to see there is a plan in place here, re-visit this trade in December
 
Thing is: once Chip starts losing then see me with that he doesn't know what he's doing talk.

He went 10-6 with Mark Sanchez and the worst secondary in the league soooooooo

Kendricks and a healthy Alonso has the potential to be a top 3 ILB combo in the league. Definitely the fastest right away.

But damn, I'm gonna miss Shady man. Don't even know how to feel, still in shock.

^Yup, we have insane cap space now. Expect us to go after McCourty/Maxwell. Our defense can be something if we can make some moves. A lot of holes to plug though. IDK man
 
What I was referencing with Watt:

This offseason, Watt says he plans to move to a remote cabin in the woods so he can be cut off from the distractions of daily life and devote all his energy to improving his fitness.
Watt recently rewarded himself for an MVP-caliber season by purchasing a log cabin in the "middle of nowhere" in Wisconsin, according to Brian T. Smith of the Houston Chronicle. The star pass rusher plans to build a gym inside the cabin.
"It’s really minimalistic," Watt said. "The only thing I have to focus on is training and that’s the way I like it. There’s no frills, there’s nothing to distract you up here."


Turns out it is a 5 bathroom mansion in the suburbs with a log-cabin theme.

And before Phil fans offer screen shots of open receivers, let me tell you this simply.. Nobody outside of Philly thought that cutting djax made them better...

What's even funnier these were the two players that best fit chips system... Like they were tailor made for his system..
