Underrated because his own fanbase step all over themselves to dimish his role in favor of their chosen one.

Every other fanbase know all about the guy and what he is.
Nah you just have a complex

Jimmy Graham is a better blocker than Rob Gronkwoski.

every fanbase is like that but way to single out 1

Every fanbase crushes their own best player? Do you have some other examples?

Patriots crush Brady? Colts crush Luck? Packers crush Rodgers?
to be fair I'm a mets fan that dislikes david wright. but then again, i dont consider him our best player anymore, even though some do.

also plenty of ***** that criticize carmelo, but thats just your average new yorker being a tool.

Seahawks fans love Marshawn Lynch.  I've never heard a single Hawks fan have anything negative to say about him.

Seahawks fans also love Russell Wilson, but the two aren't mutually exclusive...

He's not their best player tho.

Good point by JRS on Melo. That's.....well, I dunno what that is.

Pablo, crushed was probably the wrong word, and that's my bad. I should have said diminished. That's a better word to describe it than crushed.

My post wasn't about Seattle fans not appreciating Lynch. It's about the organization and analysts not giving him his due. We see Russell get praised for putting up average and below average numbers. Then being awful two years in a row come playoff time. Yet Seattle didn't want to extend Marshawn, then halfway into the year it was damn near confirmed that Seattle was letting him go and then they try to make Russell the hero instead of handing the ball to their best player.

I'm sure Pete wouldn't tell Russell to honor a contract like he told Lynch.
