If anything the entire narrative about the org ever cutting him was woefully short on facts. They gave him a raise last summer when he asked and now a huge deal. Of course I don't know, but that's been my opinion on those rumors. The org has been obsessed with re-signing productive players.

Most stories about the Seahawks last season were short on facts (if they were even factual to begin with, like Russell Wilson's "blackness" tearing the locker room apart). Notice how everyone conveniently forgot about all the drama once they ran off all those wins and went to the Super Bowl again. The Seahawks are very protective of information. They don't let information get out.
