Resign Nick and go after Brandon Graham and Pot Roast please

Pot Roast said he wants to play wherever Del Rio is at. If the Raiders make him an offer, which is likely with Suh out the picture, it's safe to say he's going there.

And Suh said he loves Detroit

It's all good til them Ms come out

2nd highest cap room right now. Like I said if we offer the contract it's close to a lock.

If you have to blow our offer our the water you can have him

Well since all the high paid players are going and we have to spend the money I wouldn't be shocked

@ Maxwell's agent finessing $1.5M more out of Philly after initial discussions.

If Chip retains Maclin, signs McCourty, and trades everything for his boy toy...oh man.

Kind of sounds like they might be building a Dream Team over there.

Philly fans turning into the new Seattle fans in here. They gotta attack and defend every post

I like Maxwell, he seemed solid to me but he's leaving a great secondary to go to an awful secondary. So it's gonna be interesting to see how he plays.

Interested in seeing what happens with McCourty. They saying he's gonna bring in the most money behind Revis. A lot of teams want him.

Never thought Julius was that good. Thought he was just a product of Peyton. He'll disappear in Jax.

Don't think Frank Gore is a good fit for Phila
I agree with everything you said.

Dream Team...

Eagles...

Over paying CBs...

This sounds eerily familiar....

You made a comment.. And I just gave you some perspective.. Nnamdi isn't the only free agent corner we've signed to big money.. It's a statement of fact

As an Eagles fan, I am concerned with how maxwell will do without those other players around him in the secondary (we all know how great that secondary was).. But we were going be on the hook for like 9 mill to cary freakin williams for this season.. And considering how bad our secondary was last year, the bar ain't that high

And mccourty will get good money for a safety, but corners always get paid more.. I see him getting 8-9 per at the most

And as for frank gore, chip wants a 1 cut and go guy.. If he's willing to come for cheap, gore fits that.. And it wouldn't stop us from looking in the draft

Detroit offered Suh 17 per with 58 guaranteed.

Miami went 19 and 60.
Damn, if that's true...it's a lot closer than what I thought it was.

But at the end of the day, those extra dollars are accentuated by no state income tax vs. 4.25% in Michigan. Change of climate & setting doesn't hurt either.

Playing in Miami has always been tough for the Pats. That D-Line y'all got there now though...

I hope they schedule that game in December.

Ain't trying to see what happens if this occurs again.

Actually we only signed 1 cb then, Nnamdi.. Asante was already with the team for a couple seasons.. And DRC was part of the kolb trade

The dumb aspect of those guys being put together is they all had different strengths.. And making your oline coach the defensive coodinator.. But that's why andy is coaching the Chiefs now

I mean we just watched Fletcher and Cary Williams ruin a season

Should we be upset about getting Maxwell? Nhamdi didn't work out but you can't be scared forever

Lots of revisionist history in here when it came to people wanting Nhamdi on their team

our D jus became better than everybody else in our Division on paper ...I ain't worried

That 11 team was a complete disaster from the start wen we grabbed our O line coach to coordinate the D.

Andy really made some horrible moves

Asante worked out.. Troy Vincent really worked out..

My bad for knowing my team's history past the last 5 years

I don't think Maxwell changes that secondary too much, but at least it's a expensive piece the Eagles didn't have.

Our starting cbs last year were: cary Williams and bradley fletcher

Only cbs on the roster presently: brandon Boykin, Nolan Carroll and jaylen watkins

We'll find out this season, we always split with the Eagles. The road through the East, are the Cowboys.

He's only one dude though, covers one WR or one Zone. I wouldn't say he needs LOB to make him great but having that secondary did help.
The Seahawks let Browner & now Maxwell go.
If they really felt like they were that great they would have retained them.

You can't retain guys you can't afford to keep

The division has had a different winner like the last 5 seasons and you're going to go out on this limb?

Yeah, I will. I understand how the East works every year a different team wins the division, I don't think that'll be the case this year. I'm not claiming Super Bowl, just winning our division.

They tried retaining him.. But they had already spent big money on the other 3 guys..

And as to the point I made, our secondary was horrible.. So whatever his responsibility is within the defense, him being better than those guys I mentioned = the secondary being better than it was

And obviously we still have more money to spend and there are guys we are looking into

Also the last time the NFC east had a back to back champ, was the Eagles in the '03 and '04 seasons
