It's the scheme that Billy Davis runs. He didn't have the right kind of players in place. He put Cary and Fletcher on an island with no safety help a lot, likes to stay in base D as much as he can (which forces either nate or jenkins to cover slot). I think overall the defense was solid, the secondary was putrid :x, literally the worst group on the squad last season. There is a reason why the secondary coaches from last year aren't returning and Billy D is. I think he's a solid coach
