Ryan Mathews is always hurt but being brought in on a restricted role might not be so bad, Gore was probably look at no more than 200 carries in the Eagles offense

I think their defense is better but that offense has definitely fallen. I don't understand how you're this offensive guru who's all about speed and you let all the speed on your team go in 2 years. It seems like the little success Chip has had in the league is getting to his head. Watching the best players on your team get traded rubs players the wrong way, that's probably why Maclin left.
If they have another bad season it's going to be ugly.

And yeah you gotta treat guys who perform right.  It may well work out (I know McCoy was not liked in that locker room), but I'm not sure if Kelly is sending a strong message to his players that he has their back here.

Agreed. He looked really good last year before he got hurt....again.

With Sproles and Polk splitting carries with him maybe he could stay healthy a lil longer.

****. That makes me sad. I like Bowman. SF is just cursed. Couple plays away three years in a row. Giants game, SB and the Seattle game. That defense was fun as hell to watch. Willis retired and who knows what's up with Bowman's knee now. Damn.
