Over the years, I've concluded that your best bets for making impact signings during free agency is by getting players who play in the trenches and on the defensive side of the ball. A lot of these diva positional players get overpaid and their play doesn't match their contract or they get paid and that's a wrap for their productivity period. I think there's way more risk involved. Obviously, there are exceptions, but overall, I'd like to get your WR's and RB's from the draft.

Truth, that year Seattle waited and waited and got Bennet and Avril for basically 4-5 million apiece basically won them the superbowl. Teams that are looking for pieces to put them over the top don't need to look any further than the trenches..

Excellent. Top tier level.

I don't care if the Colts bring back the '01 Miami 'Canes in a time machine. The only thing stopping the punishment they're gonna receive for their GM trying to interfere with God's work is if someone drops dead before the day of that game. Might as well schedule it early in the season so we can all quickly move on from it.

Giants picking up Vereen is a nice move. That's their new safety blanket when Eli gets tempted to make some of those risky *** throws.

Seriously tho, he's great at picking up the blitz. There's been a few plays where he'll forgo selling the playfake to pick up an LB or blitzing db...

All those backs soldinger coached at the U are pretty good blocking backs
