Mathews is average. He puts no fear in defenses and is always nicked up.

people assume Shady is just going to run for 1500+ yards in Buffalo
it's not a coincidence that Maclin, DeSean and Shady all had their best career year under Chip, I am going to let this all play out but would have liked to keep Maclin

he's not being brought in to carry the ball 300+ times, he will get 200 or less touches and split time with Polk, Sproles and whoever they draft (please be Gurley)

With the age of Maclin, Jackson and McCoy you can legit say theyre coming into thier prime. Chip was a factor but those guys are very talented regardless of scheme.

He was an All-Pro and ran for over 1000 yards BEFORE Chip though...
You keep talking as if Chip made these players. They were great BEFORE he even got there. His system just padded their already great stats.

When i heard the news last night i was excited, but now i kinda don't want him back. He said on First Take yesterday that he wants to be paid "more than people expect" and we just paid Skrine. I'd much rather put that $$ into the OLine & a safety.
Also, it's looking less & less likely that Mariota is gonna fall to #6 so if we draft Trae Waynes there's no need to pay Cro.

I have a feeling Washington is going to be in play for Mariota or the Saints are my sleeper to move up and get him, they have two 1st rounders now and Brees is 36

We don't really know if Chip's system really works, because he inherented a team full of Pro-Bowl players. This year will be the test.

Ehh I wouldn't say he's garbage.
He's had a lot of bad luck, had to learn a new offensive system every year his first 3 years, unfortunate injuries, etc

Yeah I'm pretty sure at this point every single team ahead of the Eagles is going to put some bogus report out there of their interest in Mariota knowing that Chip is willing to trade his whole team and every draft pick for the next decade for him.
