Potentially close to signing with a team.
Free-agent defensive end Greg Hardy  has started negotiations with a team that does not want to be identified, and others are interested as well, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus.
Would have loved Hardy in Minnesota, but I'm pretty sure they didn't even pursue nor think much about it since they want to keep AP. Woman beater and a child beater on one team would be a public nightmare.

In all, Kelly is committing a lot of money to his running backs. Let’s assume that Mathews’s deal eats up about $4 million in cap space this year. Assuming that it has a roster bonus, Murray should come in at about $9 million. The Eagles already have Sproles on their cap at $4.1 million. Even if they cut Chris Polk, that means about $17 million in cap space is committed to running backs.

The only team that even comes close to the Eagles on running back spending would be the Vikings, who have $18 million committed to backs this season, but $15.4 million of that money belongs to Peterson, who is likely to be released or traded. Otherwise, nobody else is spending more than $10.9 million on running backs, which leaves the Eagles as an enormous outlier in terms of how they’re choosing to use their cap space.

Here’s the simplest way I can put this: Pretend, for a moment, that the Raiders or the Jaguars or the Browns made this exact same pair of moves. They would be the laughingstocks of the league, fools making the same stupid mistakes that bad franchises always make. The Eagles understandably aren’t being painted with that brush because Kelly has earned a certain level of credibility as a forward-thinking coach. With the moves Kelly has made this offseason, that credibility is on the line.

LOL.

Shoes...u got a link to that? I'd love to read what else was said....

Some other tidbits...

During the last 7 games of the season they played:

Giants
Skins
Seahawks
Raiders
Seahawks
Chargers
Cardinals

I see 2 competent QBs, and that's a stretch.

I mean, you play who's on your schedule. With the playoffs not totally out of the question for the 49ers in the last 7 games, why is a bad thing that Culliver played well during that span? They had A LOT riding on the line.

I'm not sure what you're looking for? It's a strawman.

Antrel Rolle broke down on the radio. That **** was hard to listen to. He can still play, no idea why we didn't bring him back. We don't have a ******* safety at all and he was our captain. I'm ******* livid.

I don't care about the money
so why are you bring up the money we spend?

and we don't employ the single largest cap hit going into next season.. which has an impact on the other moves that can be made, like resigning one of your two 'top 3 MVP' candidates

I don't care about the money cap boy. I just found it funny how when ya'll traded Shady, it was all about "Chip can plug anybody in the system"...

....and now this clown is devoting the most money in the league towards the running back position and ya'll silent.

The contradiction

I do agree it is a huge gamble but hey, if your gonna go out then go out with a bang

Fans always think the latest move is the best. Just how it goes, objectivity has little relevance with fans, if it did people wouldn't act so ridiculous in regard to sports

Don't be so corny stat boy. It's disturbing you used that pic 3 times already....

I'm not looking for anything, just telling you that Culliver isn't very good at his job.

You showed one thing, I showed a rebuttal.

Just good healthy discussion. :D

He's a capable starter. No one is saying he's Revis or Haden, but for the ********, he'll be perfect teamed up with Breeland.

On top of it all, the contract isn't that outrageous considering what other CBs are making around the league.

*Shoes, thanks for the link.

5th rounder please...

Solid move though.
Wallace, Stills, Landry, Jordan, Miller, (sleeper) Matthews, Sims :smokin

The Saints management is taking Brees' "playing till 45" comments a little too seriously
