is AP really worth a 2nd rounder at this point when you can get one of these young cats in the draft? the attention he's gonna bring, the fact he hasn't played in a year, i'd rather pass completely on AP at that price and try to trade up and get gordon.

I think so. It wouldn't take AP long to whip himself into football shape.

I don't know man. It seems pretty grueling having to switch yourself back into football shape after a year off.

Maybe, but his body would taking some painful punishment for his reckless style of play.

Only way to get into football shape is to play football - in pads - under game like conditions, but it really doesn't take longer than 3-4 weeks  if your base fitness level is already where it should be.

From a physical training standpoint it's really the sole purpose of training camp. Come labor day weekend AP will be fine.
