Nicks looked like trash last year. I think all of his injuries caught up to him. Shorts is one of the FA's that I think will be a steal for the right contract.

He's visiting with the team today but people are saying that he has a Jets visit lined up in case he doesn't reach a deal...Hoping Stevie Johnson doesn't leave Foxborough without a contract,gonna be real salty if he ends up with the Jets
Also Wilfork isn't headed to Houston anymore and doesn't have any Indy visits lined up...

I thought they would've gone after Tramon or some of the FA corners left but nothing yet. It looks like they're mainly focused on the front 7 and establishing a good pass rush this season. I'm certain that the secondaries gonna be one of the big focuses come draft day. From what I gather, he's primed to be the starting SS. Dude has upside, and hopefully he picked up a few things from Earl/Cam.
Just gotta figure out what to do at FS. I'm guessing maybe Amerson moves back?

This offseason has been like nothing I've seen before. No rumors, no drama, no leaks....the SM effect is real.
Paea, Knighton, Culliver, and Johnson are all in their 20's, with the oldest being Knighton at 28. Skins are REALLY trying to fix the defense.
I wonder what they'll do on draft day. I know SM's philosophy has always been to take the BPA regardless of position...but I think they'll be in a good spot to possibly trade back. I'd like to see the o-line addressed, but #5 is too high for guys like Scherff or Collins.

It's about time we got a GM that understands that old washed up players ain't the way to go. I like all the moves that have been made. And the fact that he's basically gone all defense says a lot.
Outside of Oline we are set on offense. It's gonna be what we get out of whatever Starting QB. Inhope Robert can find a way, I really do.
