I don't get how both Foles and Maclin are gonna suck but the offense is still nice
The Steelers did look surprisingly bad though. Our twos were roasting that D and held their own against the O. I was surprised.

It's wishful thinking from a Giants fan

It's understandable to want that to be the case

Troy shoulda put a suit on two years ago. Join lavar and that annoying girl and work his way to sundays. Hes beyond awful in coverage but hes still so smart and instinctive he makes one or two pkays a game u actually think he has somethin left. Dudes washed. Dont see him makin it all 16

Did I say Foles was gonna suck? Big difference between a slump from last year and sucking.

How important is Maclin in that offense? Team looked fine last year without him.

Wasn't aware that the Eagles offense could only be dominant with Foles and Maclin playing

If your QB slumps and has a "nice reality check"; how the offense dangerous and very strong?

If Foles and Maclin were out for the year. Sanchez starts, you expect a different year from the Eagles offensively? I don't. Stacked O line. McCoy and Sproles in the backfield is ridiculous. Klansman and Celek out there. Come on, it's cool to be defensive over your team but you know better than that.

And also, a slump for a guy that threw 2 picks would be 10-15 picks. Still not AWFUL. A fewer TDs as well. But hey, be defensive and overreact my man :smokin

10-15 picks is not a slump when he drops 30+ TD's in the explosive offense

And I won't even bother with the fact you just said Foles and Sanchez are interchangeable

I don't think any of us are being defensive though, just reasonable  I think losing our pro bowl qb and #1 receiver is a big deal.

What does a slump mean to you though? Do you just mean Foles won't re-produce the same numbers as last season? A slump usually indicates poor production.

Also, you're being a bit looney if you think Sanchez could take the reigns and have the Eagles not skip a beat. Even with a healthy Maclin.

A slump, a step back. Foles struggled against Dallas when it mattered most. The worst defense. There's a full off season of studying this guy and plenty of film. He's already thrown more picks in games that don't matter than in the last season. I don't like Sanchez but the guy is still decent. Won playoff games and everything.

I would predict a 22-14 year for Foles.

Maclin belongs in the McNabb era. He would fit perfectly with the other bums McNabb was forced to throw to.

Defense mechanism for not believing in your own squad

Ummm I really have no idea what to think of either Sanchez and foles right now..

I hope foles proves this year that he can be our "franchise" guy and we can just worry about building the team around him..

But with Sanchez, he was drafted extremely high for a reason (not that, that is a great indicator for QBs).. But was he really put in a position to succeed on the offensive side of the ball with the jets (of course they were defensively).. And he did have his moments for those jets team in big moments

If foles wets the bed.. Sanchez can be a placeholder for whoever we draft in the next draft.. And hopefully we would be able to sign him on a 3 year deal for cheap with teams be scared of touching him

Just glad we have someone who looks very good as a backup, cause I was not comfortable with Barkley being the number 2

I'm sorry but there's no ******* way the starting quarterback of that Eagles/Chip Kelly offense is only scoring 22 TD's in 16 games this year. Dude is throwing at the very least 30 TD's. Tonight he should have had two TD's before the end of the second quarter but Cooper dropped an easy one then Maclin clearly got in but they decided to not challenge it and just run it in the next play. The interception also came on a little screen play where Sproles tripped over his own teammate then Polomalu made one of his signature out of nowhere diving catches for it.

He'll be more than fine.

Vikings second-year DT Sharrif Floyd admitted he ballooned up to 330 pounds as a rookie.

Floyd weighed in at 6'3/297 at last year's Combine. He gave up eating meat this past March and is back down to 300. This could obviously be to blame for Floyd's sluggish rookie year. He didn't make much of an impact as a pass rusher or play the run that well. Now, Floyd's being counted on to start next to Linval Joseph. Some believe Floyd can be coach Mike Zimmer's next Geno Atkins. Aug 22 - 9:43 AM

I had to deal with his damn sister last year in my job for school loans; she kept telling me who her brother was like that was gonna make a damn difference in the answers she got from me

like I was just supposed to erase her situation because her brother was an NFL football player
