Sooo what happened to those Watkins day 1 star predictions?

Told you WRs take time to learn the game. Has he caught a ball yet?
 
Watkins isn't playing he's got bruised ribs. Hadn't really done anything before that this preseason though.

I never understood the McCown hype. Every time I read the posts after the Bucs signed him, I felt like people forgot how old he was or had no idea he has been in the league for over ten years now. He's a journeyman for a reason. Not saying he's gonna fall on his face this year, but the probability isn't high that he duplicates what he did with the Bears, but for an entire season. If the didn't have the defense that they did then I would say it's almost certain he wouldn't finish the year out.
 
I don't understand.

I don't think McCown is great by any means but He looks like he's playing pretty well against a solid Bills defense...

No ones gonna look like The elite guys but the elite guys...

How much are we going to glean out of these preseason games though? I feel like we go through this every single year. People think it's all figured out based on the 3rd preseason game. It's never the way it works. Hell, there isn't too much figured out after 4 weeks of the regular season, let alone anything in the preseason.
 
I don't know what to think of McCown yet myself, but he played pretty good this game. Not gonna lie though...I think Glennon might be the better overall passer.
