NFL really needs to get rid of about 6-8 teams. Not enough talent in this league to have this many teams.

Plenty of talent in the league, hell more than enough.

Not enough roster spots is the issue.

Not enough spots? So the NFL is flooded with great WRs, OLs, RBs, WRs and CBs???? I just woke up so I have to be misunderstanding this. There's too many awful teams in the league.

I'm always for contraction and increasing the level of talent per team

There should be more roster spots though, just for depth proposes

All of you dudes talking about a team moving to London, a team will be moving to LA well before that happens. Way to much money for theNFL on the table not having a team there right now.

The money has been on the table for some time but LA has been a gold mine for the NFL by not having a team there and the countless cities blackmailing their areas with the threat of moving to LA. But I do agree, now that almost all cities (save for a few leftovers) today are locked into good situations the time for a team there will be soon no doubt.

Deadspin:

Testimony In Darren Sharper Case Reveals Alleged Use Of "Horny Juice"

Details are starting to drip out surrounding the alleged serial druggings and rapes that former NFL player Darren Sharper stands accused of. Testimony given yesterday at a hearing for one of Sharper's co-defendants sheds light on their alleged use of drugged cocktails, and hints that Sharper wasn't the only NFL player in on it.

Sharper is facing both state and federal charges in Louisiana, and it's in that latter case that an FBI agent testified yesterday about questioning former sheriff's deputy Brandon Licciardi, who is charged with distributing drugs and witness tampering.

Licciardi told investigators he went to a convention in Las Vegas attended by NFL players, and a player warned Licciardi that drinks had been spiked with drugs, FBI Special Agent Robert Blythe testified. Questioned by Licciardi's lawyer, Ralph Capitelli, Blythe declined to name the player Licciardi mentioned, or other NFL players at the convention.

Blythe said he might not recall the name correctly. "It's possible I could mess it up. There are a couple (names)," Blythe said.

[...]

And what did those other NFL players call the drinks mixed with a "substance," Assistant U.S. Attorney Mark Miller asked Blythe.

"I believe Mr. Licciardi called it 'horny juice,'" Blythe replied.

Licciardi was concerned that investigators might find incriminating text messages on his phone, Blythe testified, including a message in which Sharper allegedly referred to drugging a victim.

"She's on the potion. She's ready," Sharper wrote in a text, Blythe said.

A different FBI agent testified that Licciardi worked for a bookie and recruited Sharper, who bet large sums on sports, including NFL games.

FBI Special Agent DeWayne Horner also testified about investigators' interviews with a St. Bernard businessowner who ran a bookmaking operation, and hired Licciardi to recruit bettors, as well as pick up and drop off winnings. One of Licciardi's recruits was Sharper, who bet on baseball and football, Horner said.

Sharper apparently bet big, and on one occasion, won so much that the bookie decided to pass him on to "Russians" based in California who could handle larger wagers.

Sharper lost $25,000 on a bet with the Russians, but Sharper didn't pay. The bookie warned Licciardi that Russians could easily track down Sharper's computer and find his home address.

"They'll get your address and they will come kill you," the bookie said he warned Licciardi. Licciardi, the bookie said, didn't seem concerned.

Sharper currently faces charges in Louisiana, California, and Arizona, and an investigation into similar claims in Nevada is ongoing.

Titans could trade for Cutler and then get a Rams-type bounty for that #1 pick from somebody...

Yeah the NFL doesnt really have enough roster spots for all the talent

In the NFL unlike like the NBA you can scheme your way to mediocre team without superstar talent

The really bad teams are mismanaged, misfortuned or really young

Top ten as of now

1. Tennessee (2-13, .483).

2. Tampa Bay (2-12, .467).

3. Oakland (2-12, .571).

4. Jacksonville (3-12, .507).

5. Washington (3-11, .470).

6. N.Y. Jets (3-11, .533).

7. Atlanta (5-9, .495). ***

8. N.Y. Giants (5-9, .505).

9. Chicago (5-9, .513).

10. Carolina (5-8-1, .503). ***

Obviously skewed cause JAX and TEN have played 15 games. ATL and CAR are still in the NFC South race (

) so neither one of them would pick higher than 21st if they won the division.

There is plenty of talent.

What there isn't plenty of, Quality Coaches and GMs. Bruce Arians is getting to 11 wins using scotch tape and bubble gum to keep it together. He's had 18 different Quarterbacks start this year, 15 different running backs. No one can name their defense behind PP.

One guy is putting that all together with "no name" talent and a great staff.

Just one example.

According to the Bucs board I was reading the Bucs need the Texans, Colts, Giants, Dolphins, Chiefs, Eagles, and Jets to win this week to take control of the #1 pick over the Titans.

I really need the Cowboys to lose for playoff seeding implications, but I would bet on them to win.

It's cheaper because the Mariners have been trash for 15 years. My cousins get free seats

ATT park seats are closer to field especially from Lower Level and All the bars and places to eat around the ballpark are good. No need to eat inside :pimp:

I like Safeco but Imo ATT Park is way better.

Nah
