deal with it !!!!!!

I agree it's a QB driven league, never said it wasn't.

But to trade watt for Russell Wilson or Matt Ryan?

Ha.

And I posted 18 different QBs.

Manning - 1
Brees - 1
Thomas - 3 ( some good defenses earlier in his career )
Eli - 2 (out side his 2 Super Bowl got streaks : coupled with that defensive line, he's been an average QB, mediocre at times)
Ben - 2 ( one he rode the defense, one he won)
Russell - 1 (rode that defense, run game)
Rodgers - 1
Flacco - 1 ( he played well and defense got got hot )

So outside of the elite QBs ( Rodgers , Manning, Thomas, Brees )

All those other Super Bowl QBs got hot at the right time with a top tier defense.

Hmmmmmm.
Rodgers and Manning both had top-tier defenses (or defenses playing at a top-tier level) when they won.  So did Brady.

I wouldn't argue that Brees did, but the Saints D went on quite a hot streak that playoffs.

Ultimately that supports your point.  But this "X is carrying the team" narrative is ridiculous.  You aren't winning a Super Bowl without a complete football team in this day and age.

Im not a believer in that having a great offensive line is important

If you have a good quarterback he can make the offensive line look better

bruh...it's essential. the 12-3 patriots looked like dog**** early on in the year when the offensive line was full of back ups and underperforming. with the main unit that's currently out there, we're a juggernaut.

the last game against the jets...we saw two of the back ups make a return to the offensive line and thus we saw the offense struggle.

dallas has returned to contender status on the back of their offensive line.

it's essential.

You're talking about playing backups

If you put 2 backups in almost any position unit they will probably struggle

I'm talking about you don't need use a bunch high draft picks and spend alot money in UFA on the offensive line

The idea, that you need to build your offensive line first

On the offensive line, continuity is the key, not so much prime talent

I know we don't all agree on everything, but man if you look through the last page a few people really stand out when it comes to people who don't watch games and only check box scores

Yeah I just sat back and watched

Beastmode fined $11,500 for his endzone celebration

@kentsomers
Bruce Arians uses the "quick hook" with Logan Thomas. Will go back to Ryan Lindley as starter for Sunday's game, per source. #AZCardinals

You could probably even take out the this day and age portion. Not basketball, no one player can win it in the NFL

What one player would you say has won it in the NBA? Obviously Bron had Wade. Those Spurs teams were complete teams. Shaq had Kobe. Kobe had Pau. C's had the Big 3. Dallas had Dirk but a bunch of other guys played out of their mind. Only one is maybe Wade in 2006 (refs were definitely his sidekick) but Shaq was there and other guys stepped up.

Not trying to derail the football talk but I would just say the same applies to football and basketball. However, football is more important about getting hot at the right time
