Every Eagles fan I know REFUSES to admit that getting rid of Desean was a bad choice. I don't get it. You lost one of, if not THE most explosive player in the league for absolutely nothing and you can't even for one second admit it was a stupid decision.

I remember the way **** was coming out Chip had people on here thinking DeSean was about to be the next Hernandez and have all his gang killings come out.

Haven't heard one problem about him since he got traded

You nailed it,I have a close friend that's a die hard Eagles fan that's the same way. The funny and ironic part about the whole situation is that even with all the dysfunction surrounding that cluster**** of an organization,I can't recall reading about or hearing one negative story about D-Jax since he's been in Washington

No.. People have created a narrative and with most conversations were people have a predetermined view point on something, it's usually impossible to have a reasonable conversation.. And usually people take things in a black or white matter, so you ever agree or disagree.. Middle ground seemingly doesn't exist

Desean was obviously great within the offense and is an extremely explosive player.. However from all accounts he was a bit of a headache behind the scenes and challenged the authority of coaches, which obviously undermines the team as a whole.. Plus he was getting paid a crap load of money and was asking to restructure his contract again after literally just signing a new deal

And pointing out that our offense was fine without him, isn't a knock on desean.. It's just that our offense had substantionally bigger issues, that wouldn't have been solved by desean.. Poor QB play, turnovers and injuries to the offensive line

In spite of the above mentioned issues and missing the great desean, we still broke the team record for scoring

Then you have jason avant saying he had to act as a buffing between desean and the coaches on occasions and he was gone.. Then desean not being much of a blocker

desean posted a pretty decent season. On the right team he would be the most explosive player in the league if he is not already

Point is, you have either DJac on the field or KKKooper who you takin

Eagles Fd up

Big time.

Cary Williams will always be appreciated for putting the hands on racist Riley :pimp:

djax is a certified cowboys killer tho

if he was still with the eagles, they wouldve beat the cowboys on the SNF game and who knows what wouldve happen

**** was so overblown. They tried their hardest to justify letting him go and stories made zero sense.

Those Taiwanese animations are always appreciated . Suh was on some Blitz:the league type stuff there, straight ripping out Romo's spine . Jerry Jones though

Bringing in Sproles really hurt Shady's production but what really hurt the most was losing Desean. Maclin would catch some deep passes once in a while but Desean is the best in the league at it and every single time he's out on the field the whole defense needs to account for it. Without him and with Sproles teams were able to stack the box when Shady was out on the field basically knowing that every time he was out there it was a handoff to him. That and the fact that Chip completely eliminated Shady from the passing game.

I wouldn't say Sproles really hurt Shady's production. He rushed for 300 less yards than last year(albeit his TD's were down, polk vultured him on a few) behind inconsistent o-line play. Still, that was a quiet 1300 he racked up this season. Something did look off about Shady though and he seemed to avoid contact and looked less elusive. But I agree with you on the passing game aspect with shady

Or maybe jason Peters being the only guy out of our starting 5 to play all 16 games.. And us literally picking up guys off the street to start along the oline

And shady was 2nd in the league in rushing attempts with 312 attempts: http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/rushing/sort/rushingAttempts

Yes, sproles played most 3rd downs wish hurt his receiving numbers.. But QB play hurt a lot of guys especially depending on the QB and the point the season
