Probably didn't see it as that big of a deal, but if you want to be technical, then I guess it's a penalty.
Dude's can't use the ball as a prop or spin the ball , but you'll see it happen every week after a big catch or something. Saw it a few times this weekend, not one call. Only time I've seen it called was once when Sidney Rice spun it and then he continued to do it after that and never got called for it again.
Or that rule where it's like you can get flagged for cursing or using the n word. It's kind of lame to let something like that really affect the game, but I mean, it is what it is.

why don't we go back and post all the missed calls by refs this entire season? that way we can figure what teams should actually be in the playoffs

Airblaster has a list of calls from every game I think that were missed or against the lions... We can use that as the starting point.why don't we go back and post all the missed calls by refs this entire season? that way we can figure what teams should actually be in the playoffs

I can't stand Ron Jaworski clamoring about the Hitchens PI call. Hell, the NFL implemented the "kneel down" formation because his Eagles teammate Herman Edwards returned that fumble against the Giants. Dude got some nerve

that's the funny thing. we get jobbed from time to time as well by the refs. but we don't ***** about it like little girls. we blame our offensive line, secondary, pass rush, or anyone else on the team besides our darling QB
