So when I was screaming at the television for holding... I was right.

SMH @ the NFL CONFIRMING that their officials are biased, incompetent, and a disgrace to the sport of football.

Yup, I might seriously boycott the NFL... not even kidding.

Come on y'all, deadspin isn't a legit news source.

Nah man, ESPN posted it too on facebook. It's legit.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/201...wboys-fourth-conversion?ex_cid=sportscenterFB

I was kidding, I know the actual story is legit.

Holding and pass interference calls are missed all the time. And that pass interference was definitely a judgment call, like a lot of people have said, if the flag isn't thrown at all, there is hardly any outrage. Unfortunately, they dont have the option to replay or challenge these calls or non-calls and even with replay, these refs still get calls wrong like the Calvin Johnson completion of the catch game.

it is what it is, refs miss calls all the time. week 2 monday night football ty hilton was clearly held on lucks interception... but of course it wasnt called and we lost the game... **** happens

Tannenbaum has worked with a firm for past two years representing coaches across multiple sports. On top of that, he's involved in some of the sports science studies.

Basically, he will conduct a coaching search next year if Philbin doesn't produce a winner. Hickey will run scouting/drafting department.

Soooo......

If Rex takes year off, Philbin fails again, Rex could be candidate, and Tennenbaum could clear out both Coach and GM, and let Rex choose his partner for GM.

*uuuuuuuuucccccckkkkkk me having to go from Philbin to Rex. :x

this is actually something they do(admit they got calls wrong) all season.

Yes they do. To a certain extent I can accept it because refs are humans and human beings make mistakes. HOWEVER this has been ongoing for years on end, and now it's becoming futile to watch the NFL anymore. If they take out the INSTANT REPLAY element than YES I can accept human error but they have all these cameras all over the damn place where we fans can see super slo mo replays, with multiple angles so why not use that to correct all these stupid mistakes. One official may see it this way, one may see it the other way, isn't it about time that technology and game film should be the deciding factor? And also every week we have these ex-officials contradicting the field officials which makes it even worst.

I think I am pretty much done investing so much time watching the NFL. The last straw for me might be this past weekend.

Still think Rex goes to ATL

Honestly there are lots of better reasons to boycott the NFL than refereeing. Hard to ever eliminate human error in that aspect not so much for other things the league have been seen in poor light for.

And yall say Dallas fans are the ones nitpicking about calls...

There is a holding "penalty" on every play. I understand that was a blatant hold, but the refs aint gonna call every single one. There were missed/ignored penalties on both sides of the ball...
