"Chris Harris has answered every question he's been asked in 4 yrs in Den. Today he didn't want to talk about not guarding Hilton. Telling."

I was wondering that too but still Peyton played trash.

Apparently Denver ESPN radio is talking about how Fox was the one that released the leak about potentially being out of a job before the game yesterday because he didn't want to return to a situation surrounded by uncertainty (OC and DC gone, Manning possibly retiring).

if this is true. Someone from Denver please confirm.
Jesus, what a damn mess.

Life comes at you FAST.

How sick does Rex feel right now?

Someone in here threw out Rex to Denver as a possibility last week and it made so much damn sense. PERFECT situation for both parties and would've been scary for the rest of the league IMO. Thank you Buffalo.

I heard a soundbite from Peyton's post-game press conference where they asked him again if he wanted to return. He reiterated that he didn't know and said something like, "it would depend on health, the coaching staff, what changes are made, etc.".

So he must have either had an idea it was going down or let Elway know the deal after the game.

Either way, Denver is in a better spot right now than they were yesterday. IDK what happens during the offseason though.

I think Peyton is hurt as well and needs to be evaluated medically.hes gonna need more than a z pack to play another down.

I kept saying it during the game.

Ty is a horrible match-up for Talib and it should've been checked out early with the proper switch.

@Freddie Black you know your team more than me, but sorry g. That's why I slandered Jack del Rio & John Fox yesterday. Too much sticking w/ the gameplan and not enough adjustments being made. Plus they got that whole conservative x soft combo going on.

Word is both he and Elway knew before the game and were extremely pissed with Fox.
Makes sense to me. The way Peyton brought it up made me think he DEFINITELY knew.

don't jinx it. BB did to the jets once. Rex could do it to the Bills. pray it doesn't happen

Damn, I wonder if that leak kind of ****** with the teams head? That whole team just looked bad. They looked ready to go home early in the first quarter, Peyton had no fire, too many drops and the defense was embarrassing. Maybe CJ was the only one that didn't get the news.

Rex, please leave Buffalo and go coach with Peyton

After that ****show yesterday, (most of) the players and coaching staff deserves all the slander they get. You have to wonder that if this news about Fox is true, whether it spread among the players and that's why they looked so uninterested on the field. I'm not saying it excuses the performance but it would at least offer some insight.

This type of stuff is inexcusable

I don't doubt that maybe a few other players found out and it does provide some insight.

I don't think it should be used as an excuse for that craptastic performance either.

John Fox leaking that info is a bad look, but that doesn't make D. Thomas re-discover his knack of dropsies and a hobbled/old Peyton missing throws. Talib on Ty for basically the entire game is 100x more of a problem than whatever fallout happened w/ John Fox and whoever knew on the Broncos side. Von & Ware were erased and there's also the lackluster LB group.

Denver's been a soft team from the jump. Starts with the vanilla *** coaches and trickles down to their players. The Colts (who aren't getting enough credit today) said it themselves after the game...they followed the blueprint from last year's Superbowl and beat up Denver receivers at the line to disrupt plays. The Patriots planned to mimic that real early before the regular season win in Foxboro when they scooped up Revis and (especially) Browner. Seattle did it again in this year's re-match that went to OT.

You beat and maul their receivers in that 5 yard cushion and as the game goes on they lose their will to fight. It sounds really cliché, but it's the truth.

john fox is a tool
the players knew and it definitely affected them
that andrew luck run where u have broncos standing around was :x
that game was like a funeral

This week? Or every week?

We should all be used to it.

I don't mind everyone rooting against us. That's part of being a sports fan. I just find crazy when ****** let their emotions run wild like Hulkamania and it gets in the way of any logic in here. It's possible to root for and against teams and NOT look like a hypocrite at the same time. Just keep it 100 and we're good.

Pretty much every post after DSA's comment was in support of Brady or the Pats

People respect the franchise and the sustained success. It isn't you vs the world
My bad, had to bring this back after reading it now.

I think the respect thing is mostly dwarfed by hatred, and that's fine. Like I said, it's a fabric of sports. Check any poll and you'll see them rank as one of the most hated teams/franchises in the country. And I'm not gonna sugarcoat it...they don't do themselves any favors with some of the stuff they pull off.

The perspective bias **** is different though and a pet peeve of mine. Not just with my team, I always call it out when I see it. It's when people see what they want to see when it comes to teams they hate or love instead of being real about it.

It all makes sense now.

Will they get in ttouble for not reporting it as an injury?

no Bellicheck.
I couldn't let this pass either.

Didn't some of us tell your *** during the Bengals game something was wrong with ol' boy and you kept stiff arming us? I said there must be a hidden injury we didn't know about and you scoffed at that.

At least it somewhat explains why he looked THAT bad. Yeah, he plays terrible in the playoffs and all that jazz, but this was on another level the past few weeks.

I hope he gives it another go and bounces back next season. I'd hate to see him going out like that on his home field.
