eh whats the difference between the amg gt and the sl?

I thought you meant the SLS. SL is a roadster.

SL is like SLKs dad while the GT is a baby SLS.

This new GT is one of the most beautiful Mercs ever, and this would have been even better with gulwing doors.

And since it hasn't been mentioned there's a full size, four door American sedan that does 0-60 in 2.9 with a top speed of 204 that can be had for around $60K.

Can't wait to check one out in person. Wonder how it'll stack up against a turbo s though.
 
No question the Turbo S will destroy it. IIRC the Turbo S is a full second (maybe more?) faster than the GTS.

Yeah in a drag race definitely, but curious to see how it'll do on a course.
 
That will be interesting but I think I'd still take the Turbo S winning it.
