IXs were the last Xmas CW I liked for the LeBron line, mad I never got my hands on a pair when I had the chance...

That doesnt make any sense tho. Those guys could still be influenced and everyone else could buy early and actually wear them for the xmas season. They would sell more pairs if they released these earlier in the month.

What about having your signature athletes wear and promote their signature sneakers on the biggest stage of the season thus far doesn't make sense. That's the only reason I can think of why they drop the day after.

Yeah for the non-sneakerheads who aren't on this site, which is the majority of that consumer demographic (believe it or not), they see the players wear them on Xmas day and then the marketing on twitter and the internet starts - and then with all the money that they get from the holiday (gift cards, money, etc) they are more inclined to purchase it on the day after. Not to mention, many other stores have discounts the day after Xmas, so this allows people to stumble upon them if they were not aware of them in the first place (i.e. Niketowns).

non sneakerheads would buy them anyways even if they dropped right before christmas. its not like they see them on tv then say hey... whats the release date

I mean KD and Kobe didn't play on Christmas..so it kinda takes away from the fact that it is "their" christmas shoe..but I like those the best out of the Christmas Day Collection..the Lebrons just don't do anything for me even though Lebron was able to wear his..I do think they should release them the week before the games are played on Christmas so that everyone could get them in time for Christmas..make it free 2-day shipping and I think that would b dope..

Nike has the clearance code HATTRICK and the preschool dunk forces are on there in a couple sizes. Just ordered my son some.

I think the X-mas sitting because as others have said it's an ugly shoe. I copped pair of the Kobe's and those are not sitting at all, it's much better looking shoe though

I think for me personally, the problem is when I look at the "Akron Birch" pair I see "South Beach" not "Christmas."  The past pairs have all been pretty "Christmas" looking.

for me the Christmas pair this year was one of those shoes you had to go through steps on whether or not you liked or would cop them... step 1 was the first leaked pic: i held my tongue on passing judgement due to the quality of the pic...step 2: better quality pics surfaced along with different angles of the shoe and i decided that they were ok.....step 3: seeing the shoe the first time but not from a pic but when lebron wore them yesterday, makes you start to finalize if you like them...step 4 seeing them in hand and in person, should finalize if you would cop having now seen the details of the shoe...i just came from the mall and i decided i would cop if....
