My little cousins (15 and 9) came all the way to Alaska for christmas, so I had to spread the xmas cheer with some new lebrons. Their parents got money but have them running around in some Target joints. This was their first pair of Nikes ever.

 

I have earned a lot of respect for people (including you) that have done good things for family, and others, over the holidays. I said it in the Kobe thread, but things like this is what makes the "game" cool. Having fun with your shoes and showing a sense of community is way better to me than people throwing up filtered pics for reps.

Don't want to turn this into something it isn't- but stuff like that is a real reason why I haven't messed with Jordans in a while and will probably continue to give em up. The scavenger mentality, with that brand particularly, is a real turn off.

Yeah it's sad. I even suggested to the resellers who bought DB 8s to flip to give some of the profits back to charity and I was called a hater and salty. I think it's a specific age group, 26 and below that act like shoes are everything in life.

Yeah it's sad. I even suggested to the resellers who bought DB 8s to flip to give some of the profits back to charity and I was called a hater and salty. I think it's a specific age group, 26 and below that act like shoes are everything in life.

Hahahah. Yeah, I pretty much don't even step foot in J threads anymore. I have my eyes on 2 pair that are getting released in 2015 and that is going to be my limit. Although, I do commend Nike for killing all the ATC proxies today so people had a chance on the Fragment 1s manually. Twitter was an absolute laugh factory from all the people mad they dropped 200 bucks on an ATC and Nike caught them slipping.

Yup, and I saw PLENTY of it. $75 was the low end of what I saw. Then of course the bantering of people wanting a refund on a shoe that they probably weren't going to get anyways from a service that isn't guaranteed. It was pretty funny. I harkened back to when I got reamed with the preorder of the LB Gator Kings hahah

Not a fan of this colorway, but I will say that the silver posite is very nice, and they have some cool details.

TDM reminds me of the kobe 6 helicopter. It's different ugly yet beautiful.

The best pic is the medial side. Looks great there. And they didn't exactly showcase the "6" either

It's just not a shoe I want that badly. And the $20 markup is just dumb. The liner on the Datas was 10x better. The "6" is awful and the microchip details in the outsole are cool but who the hell is going to see that?


I'll just be curious to see if the beasts come out because of the "premium" tag, but I highly doubt it. Heavy disco = might cop.
