The NSRL's don't do it for me, had a choice between them and the Dunks and chose the Dunks with no hesitation.  Now the Instincts are FIRE.

Finally saw the NSRLs, Instincts, and 6 Meridians tonight at my Niketown. The NSRLs def look better in person. Still don't love them, but I appreciate them more than I did before. The Instincts are nice in person, but way more dull than in a lot of the pictures online. It was a little disappointing. I love the orange on the 6 Meridians. I was surprised how much I like the shoe in person. I still wish Nike had gone with a better pattern on the posite wings, but I could definitely hoop in that colorway. I think I'll pick up a pair once they go on serious discount (I don't see how these don't hit a serious markdown).

My main problem that I always had with them and still do is the Volt color they decided to put in the shoe

It just doesn't flow well with the rest of the colors to me and IMO it ruined them 

If it was that hard GITD Volt with the matching GITD translucent Volt bottom that would've been a different story

I feel you. They could have picked a better shade of volt and used it in the sole too. That would have been nice. I may still get these on serious discount for hooping. I don't mind if the colors aren't perfect for a shoe I will beat into the ground - just don't want to pay anything close to retail.

Tried these on for the first time and they felt a little unstable to me in the area I've circled here.

When applying pressure on the outside of my foot in that area it rocks back and forth in a way that feels a little dangerous.

Wouldn't want to risk it happening during a game for sure.

I know everyone's foot is different but I've never had this problem in previous LeBrons, Kobes or KDs. And we've not seen a LeBron with that lack of support in the lateral arch of the foot before.

Thoughts?

a local shop here in SF had a 40% off sale on Black Friday, and the LeBrons were NOT excluded; they had the HOLs available in my size... but i passed.

Saturday came, and they extended the sale. surprisingly, the shoes were still there... and i still passed.

Sunday morning, and they extended the sale for one last day. surprisingly, the shoes were STILL there... and i STILL passed on that morning... noon... afternoon. then i caved in the evening.

but for $120, i can't complain.
