That's all I keep thinking every time I see them too

I was over in the ID thread playing around and almost ordered a Cavs inspired pair a few times

Then the DH color description surfaced so I waited to see them

Then I saw them and decided they were a no go and went back but the options were gone

I would've loved to do an all Maroon pair with yellow liner, flywire and check

But who knows with the upcoming ASG options we may get to do something better and a little more detailed as well now that we'll have the outline option for the check

I'm super happy with my ID pair, it's my favorite 12, but the maroon upper they put on the Double Helix is quite a bit different and super nice.   

I wish the double helix maroon upper was the one they put on ID, that would've been really dope.

They look real good there, I want those an id as well.  Don't know if I should do both an ID and the originals, I will wait to see the options on the ID come next Friday.

Those all stars look much better in those pics I have to admit. But still no way I'd buy one. It looks nice,but my disdain for a mostly white based shoe still makes me stay away. Hopefully for everyone looking to get a pair gets one. If not on RD maybe on a restock like with last years. I have one ID already but if they're gonna just go "gumbo" with the ID options,I may have to cop one more.

100% with ya on that.  That posite and upper are the best I've seen on the 12's so far, such a great color.  What could've been...

For someone who likes CW's to actually tie into the team colors and such, I think your iD is way ahead of the Helix. Just my opinion, but while variety is the spice of life...Nike has been getting a little out of control with 20+ CW's with EVERY damn LeBron model. I feel like they are really starting to stretch the pool and so many CW's are now "meh" at best. GR, Limited...whatever...a lot of filler fodder.

Aside from the All stars and maybe the BHM with the milky looking soles,one thing I hate about the lebron 12 is that all of them come with translucent outsoles. Like 1-3 is fine,but every single one? On RD it looks fresh. After some time,it just won't look good. And talk about up keep.SMH.

i remember nike holding off to show that the soles on the penny v cloaks gitd until we got a few days from release...

It's possible...but last year when they announced the All Star pack they gave us this picture and spoke of the GITD in the description...

Yea last year that was a big part of all 3 designs, I am pretty sure the other sigs don't have any GITD elements.  And I don't think the release Brons will either but they could, I am more so hoping the ID's allow you to customize the tab.  But I doubt it will.

You made a great point there, if they give us the same options on the heel peice as the bottoms we just might end up with a few GITD options
