What you explained is exactly how I imagined them to look like sense the description first popped up

After seeing the tweak they did with the ASG with the pull tab who knows though

I'm expecting a redesign to the silhouette for EXT's if it's nothing but a different tab to lack of a posite all together

Judging by the box and overall ASG theme I can see Nike really went the simple toned down route in regards to design and presentation this year

Not really sure why majority isn't going crazy over the packs though after all the different complaints of things being too over the top the past few years

You would think these would be right up everyone's alley but again it seems as if everyone wants what they can't have

Give them wild, flashy, vibrant colorways and themes they say too much is going on, give them simple with a splash of flash they say they're too plain |I

I think it's just the lack of a cohesive theme capturing the essence of host city, especially since it NYC. Still think the Kobes are the best but thats 100% attributed to the fact that I wanted those flyknit maxes in the exact same colorway. I think NYC has a lot of culture and history that they could have drawn inspiration from.

Not to open a can of worms, but for me it's more about just being burned out with sneakers. Too many releases, prices getting higher and higher, and dealing with the younger crowd who buy to wear once on social media and then sell them. And resellers, of course.

Nike really did whatever this time around and slapped a theme on it and made it fit but it doesn't

I was basically stating that many have said before they didn't like the bright and loud colorways of old and would prefer something simpler |I

How many times have you seen folks say they're not feeling a shoe and definitely gonna pass then contradict themselves by saying or doing one of the following:

A. See the player wearing it on-court and suddenly have a change of heart

B. Shoe goes on sale later down the road and then "oh I couldn't pass for that price" or "I needed some cheap shoes to ball in anyway."

C. A discount code leaks and since everybody buying for the stupid low price they hop on the train too

One or more of the above will happen with the ASG

Nike set the bar high with the galaxy pack so every year we expect an all star pack close to that level and imo they hit the mark til this year...not sayin the pack is bad this year though

When I saw the news talking about it this morning I started cracking up

Imagine how dope it would be if she actually had them on up under her umberella though
