Court Visions are super nice in person! The pictures dont really do them justice in person. I apologize for the terrible quality of my scratched iPhone camera.

str8 from the page here's their inspiration, less African or more African American how this translate to all the shoes idk

NIKE, Inc. celebrates Black History Month with a collection of products across basketball, football, running, soccer and skateboarding that honors six athletes and coaches who have positively impacted sport with their courage and determination: Theotis Beasley, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Jerry Rice, Brianna Rollins, C. Vivian Stringer and John Thompson.

A portion of proceeds from the sale of the 2015 BHM Collection go to the Ever Higher Fund, which supports organizations that leverage the power of sport to maximize the potential of underserved youth. The fund’s mission is to assist communities with knowledge, resources and tools for the next generation of leaders.

To be honest I wish Black history month was disassociated with Africa, Black American history is it's own entity and should have it's own trademarks.
This. I'm just an (white-skinned) American. And I look at black folks the same as I see myself, Americans. And as you said, there is so much rich black American history to be found. Why do we need to do tribal prints every year?

I mean yeah...~150-200 years ago my ancestors rowed their ***** over here from all over northern Europe and Scandinavia. But I'm not a "European American" or Anglo-Nordic American

'Murica!

that's the point I'm making---slapping "African" (which.. don't get me started on that) print on something has squat to do with Black History. As a teacher and a student, any time I learned/taught Black history we focused on black people in America. After all, Black History Month is an american concept. African print on a shoe doesn't do that. NOT SAYING I'm against African print , but if you're gonna do that don't be lazy and say your honoring black history. You're not. Just say you're honoring various culture clothing patterns etc.

but what are we talking about this for. Either way, it's a poorly executed CW; blasphemous or not  At least last year's were cool lookin' :\

I'm usually not down with #teamlaceswap, but it would be so necessary on the CV

3m, black, or the black w/ red dots would be

needs 3m laces :nerd:

Yea a lace swap would definitely look good on these :pimp:

3m/red, 3m/black, red/black or just plain black though do like the red they come with

Who's gonna be man enough to pull it off first though :nerd:

I just saw a dude in the ID thread swap his but he only did one shoe so far

I've grown to like the red laces in them now.

I feel the same way about them now as well thats why I said I do like the red they come with

At first it seemed like too much but when the other angles came out with the flash showing the 3m along with the shank I was sold :pimp:
