Should maybe wait till the Finals actually get underway...all the Champ Pack talk...a bit premature...

With the Heat made more sense as LeBron was coming off back to back titles and a Finals rematch...

Say what you will but this Cavs team is not those Miami teams....

But you know Nike...if they can sell it, they will.

All that being said. I think we've seen the end of the Miami Red/Gold/Black days...
 
:lol: champ packs are probably already made, shoes are just sitting there waiting for the Champ boxes and insoles or regular boxes with SE labeling.

Difference in these teams is perimeter D is better in clev but rim protection was better w/ birdman and the raptor....i hope they don't make the corks part of such pack and impossible to grab...all in on red ext, clev, some sort of pack, corks, WTL(of they aren't those awful flight looking pair)and that's about it i think

After the red ext/cle I need to just cop HOL,RC,dunk force,a iD another pair of NSRL, and I'm done with the XII

Those prisms would've been better with all black nubuck/suede upper and the prism in the liner and swoosh
 
Def in on the Red Paisleys. Thought I was out on the CLE, but those recent pics we've been seeing here could see me make the turn if they're not filtered.

PSHHHH Nike probably had the Champ pack made the day he announced he was going back to Cleveland

I'm not saying that a shoe hasn't been designed and what not, since we all know stuff is made in advance. And Nike did release the 8 Finals PE his first year in Miami in a stealth drop on NDC in freaking August...but that still doesn't confirm that we'll see anything. If they win, sure...if they lose? Who knows, but like I said...IF Nike can sell it and make money off all fools who want to pay silly prices on a "theme" that means nothing...they will.

I just thought that Nike selling "championship" themed shoes last year at INFLATED prices and had people clammoring for them when the Heat tanked (and I'm a fan) was a slap in the face. Like Nike sat back and said "Just do it...you know these people will buy anything "themed"... :smh:

Might be harsh but sometimes their tactics annoy the crap out of me.

Well, to be fair, Nike did pay those designers and manufacturers to design/make the shoes. Canceling the release because the team didn't win would cost them money. That said, they could change the name to a "team pride" cw instead of calling it a champ pack.

I agree, if they've already designed and produced them, it's not crazy to release them instead of eating it. And to be fair, Nike didn't market them as a champ pack, but obviously you couldn't avoid the similarities to the previous year's champ pack - so consumers took that and ran with it.

I get being annoyed/insulted by the inflated prices, but dc30 dc30 you still grabbed the red elites eventually, didn't you?

The Champ pack are made for when he gets to the NBA finals. the shoes themselves are never made after the finals.
