i seriously considered a fully loaded optima for less than 30k but my heart said honda and there i went

man this thing rides so smoooooooth---catch me riding down I20 in that black ***** (that's the nickname of my car) :pimp: I push it likes it's a Benz and dare someone to say something. Half a tank lasts me a full work week. So much winning.
I got a 2013 Kia Optima too, prefer driving it more than my 2013 range sport. I think it drives amazing. Funny enough more people compliment my Kia more than the range, titanium with blacked out windows.

The Korean cars are doing the same thing the Japanese cars did by the late 80s. People don't go "oh huh huh pfffft nice Hyundai
eyes.gif
," now it's "Nice Kia!"

edit: Lebron and stuff. DFs won't be here until the end of the week.

Hyundai makes some decent cars also, they just haven't got the shape right yet. The Optima grill and shape made it attractive, now all the car company's tried to imitate it somehow, especially the grill.

They havent made any cars that last yet. I see some like 4-5 years old...... and they sound like they are 12 years old. I see that happen with them more than i see with older brands.

FYI: Both carmakers are part of the family-owned Hyundai conglomerate in South Korea, one of the largest such commercial entities in the world. Despite numerous legal challenges from the state government and union, Hyundai / Kia have persevered to become the world’s fifth largest automaker. As of December 2013[sup][update][/sup], the company is 33.88% owned by the Hyundai Motor Company.

anyways I'm ready for the spring time so we can see how they do the EXT

You dudes really don't like for the thread not to move huh?

Btw I've noticed there's not really an overwhelming interest in either of the three sig lines right now.

I wonder if the general public's fascination with the "sneaker game" is starting to die down.

It would be nice to see everything sitting on shelves and going on deep (below $80) discount again.

The general public knows that these shoes are crap, and then made out of crap, and not worth the price, that's the issue.

Jordan's come out, and people line up and get happy, because even though they are not what they used to be, at least they resemble what they once were.

I was thinking the exact same thing. My last half-dozen pickups have been so easy. Didn't even have to wake up early or really put any effort into it.

Imagine that, I was able to simply give Nike my money-- instead of pulling my hair out staring at timers and twitter feeds in order to give them my money.

Nah, I think it's the fact that there are no real hyped/limited shoes coming from any of the big 3. Look at what those stupid Zoom Vapors are doing, going for more than an actual pair of IIIs

Those are more limited than an actual pair of 3's and Jordan Brand is always gonna do what it does.

But I think we're gonna start seeing everything else go back to normal in terms of easy cops and reasonable resell prices.

it has to happen, it's what happened with a lot of hobbies years back, the bubble will eventually burst.

do you see anyone collecting beanie babies nowadays?

What if it doesn't though?

People said that for sports cards and the like though.

Beanie babies suddenly had their production stopped; you can't say the same for nike stuff...

Also, most people besides teens and resellers don't view shoes as an investment and there isn't a wild amount of speculation like there was with beanie babies.

sports cards aren't being seriously messed as heavy as jordans right now, or maybe they are idk.

my point is i just can't see a world where 10 years from now beasts are still gonna be charging 1,000 dollars for every other limited shoe that comes out and you'd still have to jump through hoops.

I feel the same way but I think we still have a long way to go. Beanie babies and baseball cards rose and fell like any other collectible and I was gonna say they just sat in cases until it was time for a convention but the same can be said about alot of shoes that people horde but this is being dominated by younger and younger kids by the day, hell if you say "scream greens" to my 10 year old girl she knows exactly what shoe you're talking about. Plus social media really keeps it in your face, everybody is out to one-up the next man and I don't see the bubble "bursting" but maybe slightly deflating.
