It has to be the eyelets otherwise we would have had the iD option by now, at least, right?

I don't get why we can't have the option for an ID. It's clear that we won't have a whole different shoe so I don't really see the point of it. All I can see being an issue is them not fully having something for the pull tab theme wise. It's not like we select a whole different bottom sole when we ID. Something else must be going on that we don't know about. Honestly could be a marketing strategy getting the hype for the shoes to be so high that people will want them regardless. Especially since they would be coming out in december because they know people will miss out on the Jordans and get the lebrons instead.

Got a very welcomed surprise today...

I can't/won't get into details of who/where they came from, but very appreciative/grateful that this person thought of me and got them to me.

First thing I checked were the eyelets, and both sets look very solid, so I'm not sure if this is a "fixed" pair or an initial release pair.  "6" is still on the bottom and tab.  

As soon as I get done with my last hearing for the day I'm taking these right to the basketball court...will try to post up some initial thoughts tonight when I get back.

you guys do know that Nike is going to get out every release of the 12's that they planned to release...delay or no delay....wouldn't be surprised if they sat on CWs and released them as a big limited release even after the 13's release!

@redrum3281 all these kicks were probably produced in vast GR numbers months ago with them bull crap eyelets, why is it so hard to believe it would take just as much time to redo them all as well as change out the #6?

i don't think it's hard to deal with the eyelets not compared to having to change every shoes tripple 6 into a 23, i mean that's a lot to change compared to just an eyelet change of better construction, this just reminds me of the rising sun release that was delayed because of the insole (i got that insole though

I also remember the dmp 6 & 11 pack being delayed from november '06 to january '07, if i'm not mistaken.

idk i got mine and the original release day from JJ who didn't get the email, to hold them for the sole change, someone has already posted that there are places that did release the XII on the 11th like they were supposed to

It's a manufacturing defect bro, one of the pitfalls of outsourcing extensively. No one at Nike is getting fired, different story at the factory though...
