 Great review! One thing I'd like to point out that other people have said also is that the hexagon zoom didn't really do anything for them. I don't doubt that they will be comfortable once you put them on, but the hexagon zoom should be felt. I absolutely agree with you that for $200, no part of the shoe should look unfinished. For me, it's the hyperposite wings sticking out of the shoe and the lebron signature sticking out on the top of the tongue. I do like the creativity of the theme surrounding this shoe and feel the megafuse is probably nice (maybe a Megafuse 2015 next year like the Hyperfuses?). My opinion on the 12's is if you want to buy them for basketball, go ahead because I can't tell people what to buy. If you want to buy them just for casual wear, I absolutely DO NOT recommend it because these are the worst looking lebrons to date. To give you an idea, they're the Air Jordan 15's of lebrons.

These shoes are fair looking in SOLID colourways - the overall design just doesn't lend itself to contrasting colourways.

My favourite models so far are the NSRL, HoL and TDM, and largely BECAUSE of the contrasting colours between the posite and megafuse.

Man, these would probably be flames in a regular black/red/white scheme with suede (or even durabuck) replacing the mesh upper. White midsole, red speckled, black foam.

I haven't been this enamored by a LeBron sig since the 8. Maybe I'll treat myself to an ID when that becomes available.

Eyelets still in good shape?

Like Tigo said, anything on the eyelets?

I forgot to look when I took them off at the gym, so I popped them out this morning real quick to take a look.   Sure enough,  the eyelet on the outer wing of the left shoe is very loose....looks like the inner piece could fall right out without much effort.

Good work with the review DW. Need to patiently wait to see the 12s in hand before I have an opinion either way on them. Still not really loving how the design looks so comfort/performance is gonna be key to me. I'll probably end up with at least a pair or two, but not sure how sold I am on the 12s yet.

That side to side pic was a great idea @dwoodactennis  . It makes one realize that Nike just went the more simplistic route with the XII's. I feel the XIIs is a toned down XI - but in a good way. Not to much bells and whistles, but a semitransparent design with looks and tech.

The side by side between the XI's and XII's make it look like the XI's are ever so slightly longer than the XII's. If these ever release I may pick up 2 different sizes and send back the one that doesn't fit.

Pretty much what I was thinking too as far as the XI's looking longer...

I'm thinking of going TTS with the 12's simply because the soft upper material is just going to be inherently more forgiving than the Posite used on the XI's...I'm thinking this is why DW reported that they feel like they have more room in the toe area...

Also as an aside I'm pulling my hair out over here waiting for these to hit ID so I can mess with a black out version...Lion Heart's are the only release color-up I'm interested in unless those "Cavs" joints (Double Helix? ) end up dropping...

I don't hate the 12s but it definitely reminded me why I like the XIs so much
