prob hard plastic to help hold the mold of the foam and the shoelace, it's def weird seeing it apart and I doubt i'd notice it if it was missing in the first place

personally I would still like to see them translate there superhero series for the big 3 and use their real live cartoon/comic superheroes as inspirationgs, like the FF4 pack, inspiration done right, even the skittles and sourpatch kids were well done they weren't for me but good way to use inspirations like the data's innerliner is just a well done inspiration that's what I like and want more of, themes for these shoes can be so much more, something reebok/adidas always kills on is the Christmas themes where as nike hasn't had an awesome Christmas theme other than the kobe Grinch which depending on what you believe to read was a complete accident

but I'm going to resist. I'm going to wait and see how things go for you guys before I spend $200 on a possible defective product. At this point, what can they do? They're probably just going to take them and slap some glue or something on them. Which might just be a short term fix.

Funny people are complaining about derailing threads and being worried about it happening but the same people had a 5 page convo about other Lebron shoes and which were their favorite, if you ain't involving these "regulars" in your convo you will be reported. Only time derailing is acceptable is when they do it.

The eyelet defect isn't major and won't affect the feel or performance of the shoe, but it is a defect nonetheless.

For Nike to charge a premium price for one of their signature athlete's shoes and for said kicks to have issues before you even put them on your feet is unacceptable.

Yeah that's basically saying it is okay to pay whatever price even if it has defects. Let's say jordan with the new "remastered" sneakers they have paint issues. Is it okay to increase the price an have a paint defect an is it okay to pay it? Simply put no.

Actually the lace would start slicing into the posite after a while, especially if you're playing in them. Looks like the little cylinder goes through and protects from that happening.
