I can't believe dudes are saying The Sopranos is slow though. IDK, for me I enjoy every minute I've seen of that show. I've always been a huge fan of mob/mafia/crime stories though so that may be why.

Funny you say that considering the show spends a tremendous amount of time dealing with the everyday, mundane issues of life. The fact that these routine issues are portrayed through the prism of a mob boss & his family gives a quirky twist to a multitude of universal themes.
Good way to miss a vital conceptual component of the show.

Sopranos is not only the best drama of all time, it's also one of the best comedies as well. The Chris "intervention" scene pure laughs.

Gilligan worked as a writer on the X-files and was so impressed with Cranstons performance in one of the episodes he wrote that years later it solidified him as Gillagans choice for the lead in BB even though AMC didn't want Cranston to have the role.

Anyone remember the spoofs that Mad TV had about The Sopranos on the A&E channel? The episodes were so heavily censored that each episode was like under 10 seconds. Tony was always asking about food like gabbagoul (sp?).
