Copping perscription glasses online?

WARBY PARKER. Wearing mine right now.

I've also done Coastal ( The site Currensy was mentioning) and while cheaper, they werent held together as well as my Warby Parker ones.

Is coastal the site that did the free glasses a few times? I missed out both times because I didn't have an updated prescription

yeah, got 2 pairs from there.

$18, and $23 shipped.
only charges were the upgrades to the glass.
wearing my "house" pair now actually.
I leave the other pair in the car in case I'm wearing contacts and they fall out. 8)

Yeah, I can't see how they can mess up if you have the proper info.

current deal on coastal is 'Buy 2 Pairs of Eyeglasses for $99'
'2for99'

Warby parker. Think Nba post game conference frames.

But it sure as hell beats the frames offered at LensCrafters, Sterling, Cohens if you're looking for the vintage type frames. And they're hundreds cheaper (if you don't have Vision insurance) - WP = $95-145 (price includes lenses) vs. LensCrafters = $200+ for frames and $250+ for lenses.

P.s. You can get 5 frames shipped to you for free so you can try them on.

Wearing Warby Parker specs now as well, just sent back another try at home box. Don't really need a 2nd pair in whiskey tortoise, but I feel like the Wilke (sp) is a little too slim

I'm about to cop the Mitchell

What kind of frames were y'all getting for the first pair free from coastal.com? Need some suggestions on which ones to get

can vouch for Warby Parker and Coastal.com.

Warby Parker is good because they have a try-on program where they ship you glasses for free so you can see which ones look good. I think coastal does the same thing now as well.

Has anyone on here done this? How did your order come out?

bro.....

don't do that.

and don't go to no lenscrafters or peal optics either. go to a real stockist of fine eyewear. not that designer italian crap either, all that stuff is cheap as hell.

instead opt for a smaller brands like Salt Optics, Mykita, Barton Perreira, and Lindberg. Pricy, but in the long run you won't be replacing 'em every other year like crappy versace or prada frames.

Can't go wrong with handmade optics with quality materials, also by going into a stockist you can get a better fit. Don't cop online brah, not worth the hassle.

Dog ive ordered 4 pairs of glasses from coastal using the firstpairfree thing lol.

Definitely going to use the advice in here. Need a pair of 'home' glasses to lounge in.

I'd rather just buy at my optometrist''s office so I can try it and the doctor makes sure everything is on point. Vision is not something to mess with.
