I don't want the JC3 that much period, let alone at $160. I'm not a big picture guy anyway, but that's my reason.

You have to realize that Brandblack is a fuse of SPORT and Fashion.
The price of 160 isn't that bad with the premium materials used on the shoe. Quality and performance is top notch.
The JC3 is slightly heavier only due to the blackfoam. It's a much more responsive cushioning, giving you a lot more energy feedback upon frictional impact.
The insight given seems to be very limited only for the fact people have only had the shoe for a day to a week. Put hours into the shoe then you'll have a better synopsis.

Good points, but I don't want to pay $160 for ANY bball shoe period, even my all time favorites and what I consider to be excellent performers.
I would say the JC3 is overpriced, others wouldn't. Value is subjective and to me the JC3 costs more than I'm willing to pay. Same for a TON of Nikes, Jordans, Adidas, and so on. Retail prices for Kobe and Bron sigs are insulting to me. Kobe X's for $200 is laughable. Jordan XX9's, an excellent performer, are nowhere near worth $225 and don't get me started on retros. All just my opinion and I'm sure others both agree and disagree.

The thing i think that overlooked with retros and it grosses me out is how much money Nike and jb has already made on retros individually as in the 1 had a production year then retro'd for more money than they originally cost over time Nike has to atleast made 500m plus off ode each shoe out the line and on top how is it that outdated shoes rise in price over time

Everyone's personal financial situation is different from yours at the end of the day. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and thats respectable. We all wish materials/aesthetics with combination of labor to the architectural design aspect didn't cost that much period, but unfortunately we have to face the basis of reality.

Didn't this guy just barely sign to BB in December? Guess maybe it was an LA only endorsement. Those are Arizas PE hyperrev though, so maybe he's just didn't have any Brandblack he thought that matched.
