this Weartesters x brand black collab was a hard cop. As soon as nightwing2303 posted on his IG that bait was doing phone orders I decided to cop their last size 11 but hope it fits. TOTALK SHIPPED TO Dallas texas 130$ and even they asked if I wanted it autographed for free. Not bad

It's ironic that a weartesters collab shoe sells out in minutes. I'd have thought they would make enough pairs so people who want them can get them. I've been wanting to cop, but can't find a pair anywhere. Can't deny I'm disappointed.

Brand Black is up and coming I don't think they make enough of anything. These shoes sold out quickly

This is BS i checked the site all day and didnt see the weartrster edition avaliable. The link in this thread wasnt veiwable until today. So frustrating i have waited for this one shoe simce its "possible" release was talked about

To be honest, we were worried about demand. I know it sounds funny, but we (WT and BB) weren't really sure how wanted this shoe was, being niche and really, an "out there" look. Really wish we had enough so everyone could have gotten a pair, but again, there was no forecast on sales so it was conservative on both parts.

Duke do u know how many pairs were made to be sold minus however many wearteaster employees were made ? Curious the exact amount that sold out so quickly. I know this forums is nothing compared to a global standpoint but it seems the demend was pretty high just from this site alone.

- i was online all throughout the day 8am to 10pm dubai time, but the shoe released in 2am. Now how to cop and ball this in Dubai when the timezone is different. Me and @aries010314 wants this. And we are an avid follower of weartesters [emoji]128548[/emoji]

Kaz109, I asked NW yesterday after they sleep sold out and he didn't know own exact number. I know some went to Titan in Philipines too.

Just from the feedback on this one thread i dont understand how they couod make sure a small production amount. Unless they will do like they did with the JC2 BHM and re-release it long after the orig demand

Brandblack should have known that WearTesters are very popular.
They are trusted shoe reviewers and most Basketball enthusiast look into the WT crew.
So when they announced the first collaboration everyone got excited.
But then to dismay they only released few pairs.
For us living overseas in Dubai , Middle East, the only chance to get hold of a pair is via online
but then the online release was a surprise 2AM release, they could have told or wrote it so for us to have a chance.
Im really Happy for the BB and WT collaboration its a Milestone
But im Sad with the quantity.
Me and my Homie Aries were following NW and WT for a longtime even on their old webpage before they changed to WearTesters.Com
Congrats to those who Cooked on this Release

I could've went to bait and got them but ultimately decided to pass(buying the Curry MVP pack earlier in the week was unexpected so that a major reason too lol) besides I don't really like the white part and how the front looks, it might be the suede. The white with gum sole has a leather toe cap so I might try the ether if they go on discount.
Sucks some of you missed out but being the first collab(collabs are usually limited) and how many subscribers Nightwing has you knew they were gonna sell out. Brandblack could've made more to meet the demand but who knows how it'll go until they sell them. Now that they know there are still interests they should make another run or come out with a second colorway. I'm thinking a reverse of this colorway, the black to white and white to black, keep the gum sole.

For what it's worth, Nightwing posted that the shoe would go up for sale around 2pm, which was presumably 2pm west coast time. I saw the shoe on the Brandblack website about 20 minutes before the announced time.

The Ether, JC3, or any other Brandblack models are still available. The 'No Name' has a similar suede upper. There are plenty of models available around at good prices - JC3 on sale, No Name at $100, other Ether colorways at $120. I wouldn't worry too much about missing out on a simple black/white colorway. It was a nice collaboration though.

It's interesting that the white/reflective JC2 on Finish Line is priced at $130, $10 less than original MSRP.
