BrandBlack

@cwashburn6  thanks for starting off this thread.  I'm really considering picking up one of the low top models to try out (Raptor Lo or Phantom Lo).  That streetball-oriented pair looks interesting too.  Price isn't bad and they look as if they fit great.  Materials do look solid too.

Definitely, this brand is doing some really cool things and their shoes look great which isn't usually the case with up and comers.

Think I'm actually set on ordering a pair of Raptor Los -- can't decide between the white, the black/white and the grey/white though.  All look good imo.  Might have to go with all white.  Been a while since I bought a pair of straight white hoop shoes

Just ordered a pair of grey 997's from commonwealth's website. Got the last 11. They still have a 13 if anyone's interested.

Ordered the raptor lo in white/silver yesterday. Looking forward to trying these out

Got the low all white pair.
Will post my opinion after a few hour of play tonight. First try: as many have stated quality and feel is much more comfortable than many of Nike out there

@aznpride1150  did you order from the Brandblack website or Jackthreads?

Just curious how long they took to ship.  Ordered mine Friday and expecting a little delay because of memorial day weekend, but haven't received shipping conf. yet

I ordered from jacktreads since I got ebates on that site and my shipping address doesn't match my billing. Took maybe about 4days from ordering

From just a quick try-on, the raptor lo seems to be great.  Messed up my lower back recently, but hoping to give them a go by the end of the week

Glad to see there is a NT Brandblack thread. I am tossing around the idea of getting either the black J Crossover or black Raptor mids here soon. Love the box and dust bag included with these as shown on NW's review. I am a quality fiend when it comes to sneakers and this brand definitely has my attention.

Tom -- you won't be disappointed. Construction is solid on these. The materials feel great both in hand and while playing.

I've had the Raptor Lo for a few weeks now and it's just a solid all-around shoe.  The traction has been the biggest surprise for me as it's worked extremely well.  The fit on the raptor lo reminds me a lot of the Kobe 5.  The Jetlon midsole setup is firm, but has a liveliness to it which plays very smooth IMO.  Just a well-made, no-nonsense great all-around performer.  Highly recommended.  I'm curious to see what they bring out in 2015 based on some of the sneak peak images.

This is a quote from an interview with the designer of the J Crossover 2, which is slated for release in Holiday '14...

For The J.Crossover 2, launching in Holiday 2014, we have focused on making an incredibly lightweight shoe that’s more responsive, allowing Jamal Crawford to cut faster and jump higher and cause less fatigue over the course of the game. The J.Crossover 2 weighs 10 OZ in a men’s size 9.

The biggest innovation and contributor to the J.Crossover II lightweight is an all-knit forefoot, and ultra supportive molded synthetic collar. The forefoot has been engineered to be supportive where the athlete needs support and flexible where comfort and pliability are needed. This is the benefit of knitting; we can apply material exactly where it’s needed in a super-lightweight and breathable package.
Sounds really cool.

^Thanks for sharing.  I've seen images but hadn't seen the quote.  I've been a little let down by the flyknit on the Kobe 9 so I'm super intrigued with how these will come out

This brand is killing it, they must really have a good team over there because they seemingly came outta nowhere. Liking what I'm hearing too, really wanna try something from them.

They fit exact and true- Kobe size. I have the phantom lows and raptor lows, both black/white. And you are right, the quality and materials this brand is bringing is unbelievable. I interviewed some brand reps last weekend and the J2 knit/weave is a very interesting shoe. Should be all star 2015 release.
