So many more reasons than economics... The more "environment friendly"... They're faster and much more fun to drive... They get about equal mpg, with the slight edge to hybrids... They're lighter than hybrids because of lack of battery packs and extra electric engines... They don't make you look like a douche..
 
Yeah people like to turn their heads the other way when you mention how bad those batteries are. Nothing is environmentally friendly about those batteries.

Bruh don't do it, Honda Civic Hybrid owner checking in....Merging onto the freeway is difficult as hell.
