To the touch, these feel like better quality than the recent NA Retros. I haven't worn mine, but can definitely tell they used a nicer leather on these.

I just copped a pair for retail on ebay yesterday. Resellers I've tried dealing with would do 180 shipped. If that works for you, then go for it. If not, I'm sure some peeps will let these go easy. Just have to wait.

So I doubled up on the Black/Whites, just got the second pair in form my friend. It looks like both right pairs have this problem.

Imho, i think the royals, breds, shadows, blk toe, blk white and chicagos are the go to og 1s. These are the colors that spoke to me since i was a kid. Any others are secondary to me.

I agree, but as I've gotten older, I have appreciated the more subtle, yet overlooked colorways such as the neutral grey 1's. So if Nike brought those back out, I think many people would be very happy to see them back out...
The beauty of the Air Jordan 1 is that it is such a basic sneaker, yet it can be dressed up or down and still look good.
Even though I do appreciate the XI's, as I've gotten older I think the 1's are the best sneakers JB has ever brought out, even though I have other models I may prefer than the 1.
Only gripe I have with the 1 is the comfort while wearing them long hours, other than that, I love em'...just wish I had breds and shadows, although I am happy to have the black whites, royals and chicagos...

The biggest improvement over the 2001 retros compared to these is the midsole. Its cushioned unlike the 2001. Nike has that soft layer underneath the insole the same kind they use on the kd vii and newer air maxes that make them really comfortable
The cushion on the 1 is still bad but compared to the 2001 retros its like night and day
Also the 2001 insole is the absolute cheapest insole ive seen in my life.

Got Royals, Breds, Shadows, Family First, Barons and these. Royals still my fav. But im missing Chicagos although im on the hunt for my size 12 and have a feeling I will get lucky this holiday.
But anybody with Chicagos can tell me is the quality as good as most say it is. The quality on these is quite superb btw...

never heard of people claiming the Chicago 1's were "good quality", most people that I've read comments off of, consider them to have flimsy leather and not that comfortable...doesn't help that they were branded with a Jumpman while all the other OG colorways were not...
but still a dope look though

i need chicagos as well even thought i know the quality is trash. just want em for my collection down the line and ill beat em up over time.

I have heard from several people that the '01s were seriously lacking in the comfort dept. I'm still in awe at the fact Nike made a MODERN Jordan that contends with (and in my opinion is even better than) the older retros with these Jordan 1's.
