Opinions on Unauthorized or GM Sneakers ?

Dang some of ya'll sure are dumb. If you buy a fake pair of Nike's, a Rolex, Oakleys, anything...it's just that, FAKE. You do not actually own the real thing. Say I buy a fake Rolex. I DON'T own a Rolex. I own a Chinese knockoff of a Rolex. Same thing with J's or what have you.

Prove that it was made by the same workers, in the same factory, with the same materials. 

I'd like to see some of these dudes buy these and be like "they're GM iphones, made in the same factory and everything, just unauthorized"

Using your logic: I slap Lamborghini branding on a Ford Fusion does this make it a Lamborghini? Why not? BOTH are made of metal, glass, fiberglass and rubber...So it must be the same thing...

Lmao, watch out. It's big timmybrixx. First of all, there's a huge difference between shoes and what you used as an example. Secondly, the shoes are made of the same materials if not better. Yes, there was some unauthorized or fakes with better quality than the retail counterpart.

This is what I'm talking about btw. Some of you think you're so mighty talking down on people because of their opinion. But like I said you're a grown man right? At least that's what I think. Stick to yourself. Don't blow your top because people are wearing fakes. Worry about yourself.

No, it's not. It is Comparable material...
If I take a vodka bottle and fill it with water an put it on the shelf is it the same thing because it "looks" like vodka? If you bought this bottle then realized it was water would you take it back? Would you feel cheated? What if the clerk looked at it and said. SORRY man "that LOOKS exactly the same to me, no refund"

Everyone in this thread that claims these shoes have the same materials and are authentic has never owned a pair and compared them side by side to a pair purchased from a retailer.

If my shoes don't look like something from Foot Locker, Champs, Finish Line, Niketown, etc., I'm not buying. I don't care how much better the higher patent leather cut or super icy sole on these new Space Jams are. That's not how they came in 2009 when I bought mine from Niketown.

If they were to look exactly the same, then I wouldn't mind buying, but chances are, they won't.

Ya'll dudes strive so hard to make a statement and retain that 'SneakerHead' title, it really doesn't mean anything lol...when you resort to buying fake shoes to maintain an image, that's going too far...

Same as paying a ridiculous amount for a legit pair...going too far to make that 'I'm a sneakerhead' statement.

Who really takes pride in being labeled a sneakerhead? Cause you got a closet full of shoes? 100 instagram likes cause you got the newest releases hashtagged up with #sneakerhead #shoehead and so on?

What is the point you guys are looking to make? Arguing about real vs fake yet the markets still exist where the real is a lot of money for a pair and fake is still overpaying for something.
