I agree fully ... and the problem starts at home, of course. I would love to know what the "real problem" is. There are so many avenues you can take, but the focus starts at home. Believe it or not, not EVERY parent wants to see their son/daughter succeed. Misery truly does love company ... Sad but true.

Back to black youth. They are terribly misguided. As an older African-American male, I think the least I can do, is preach education to them (and I do that to all colors). Some times I wish NYC had a Black College. If you go to Atlanta, you see plenty of educated brothers showing enough love. That kind of unity doesn't exist in the north.

Such an easy subject to ramble on and on about. So many things contribute to the problem.

Fact is, soul singers in the 60's albeit good music, they talking about crying in their songs, and watching television until it goes off air. That's pretty damn "soft" if you ask me

How does this relate to brothas dressed in fur boots prancing around saying "yasssss boo boo"?
How exactly does this relate to young thug cross dressing, making it seen "Cool" to the young black youth?

I will say that it is funny whenever parents spend so much time/focus on making their kids fly. It is ALL about the parent.

I somewhat agree on this. It makes me sick when Men (not just black) in general act like scorned women on social media. Like son, be a man and tell the chick how you really feel!! :smh:

I agree with what you're say. But what I have noticed with many of us that argue the black plight is that we present no remedies or solutions to the problems we face. I think this is why our community lacks the guidance it once had back in the days of brother Malcolm and other black revolutionaries. We have a world of complaints, but very few of us have legitimate solutions. Without a sound course of action, we'll continue to be viewed as "black people complaining".

Emasculation for black males is such an extensive process that you can't even pinpoint the main reason in a simple paragraph.

I'll add something that I don't think has been stated about black communities around the country.

Single mothers receive incentives from the government that allows them to "raise" 2 or 3 kids without having a career or a man to provide for them.
The government now has taken the role of the provider. Who needs a man in a black household? :smh:

 
All I'll contribute is that a strong family structure is important to the upbringing of children into successful adults.
