The reason for all of these seemingly random collabos  between the Toronto-based band and the Wu-Tang legend? They will released a joint album, Sour Soul, on February 16th, 2015. Now that you've read those good news, nod your head to easily the best song to drop today, below.

 
36 seasons was a cool project, nothing spectacular.  I'm looking forward to this though.  By the way, will we ever see that Doom X Ghost album?  Been waiting on that since what, 05

Tone's Rap

As a final teaser for the project the two factions have teamed with BitTorrent to drop a bundle full of pictures, free copies of prior drops (such as the audio  and visual  for "Ray Gun"), BBNG instrumentals and more. Also included in the bundle is an updated version of "Tone's Rap" – which now features some raps from the almighty GFK.

This album is INCREDIBLE. BBNG kilked the beats and Ghost sounds more motivated than he's been in years. So damn good. My album of the year so far.
 
Digging the music on this joint. Just wish Ghost wasn't phoning it in like he has been doing the last few albums.
 
Ghost has sounded flat to me for a minute. No bounce in his cadence.
He just doesn't build the scene with in his rhymes like he used to. Obscure observations & correlations that gave depth & detail to his rhyme schemes. He just throws out one liners now. He seems a lot more straight forward & that is not what makes Ghost great.
