All though I like the look of the 97 overall, the comfort was just not there for me. They felt still as a board on my foot. 2009s were very cushiony lol and padded all over. But now I feel the flyknit maxes are the best out of any current airmax in the past 5 years, as far as comfort on my foot at least.

Flyknit Maxes are so overrated. I had a pair but sold them after a couple of wearings. Reason being they kept slipping off my heel when i was walking.
The best Air Max imo was the 2013's

2015 have been the best looking air maxes since the 2009.
I think looks wise 2015 > 2009
But, 2009 > 2015 otherwise off of colorways and comfort but I don't own a pair of 2015's... yet. Waiting for them to go on sale.

Agree the 2015 silhouette looks very good but all the colorways have been a major disappointment. Nothing clean and toned down.
