TERMINATOR THREAD - T2 turns 30 July 3

This looks horrible. Looks fan made. Why can't they make a movie like the first 5 mins on terminator 1? That alone was better than 3 and salvation

I want to like a new Terminator but I just don't see it happening

I was T2 for a neighborhood friends bday back in 1991; still remember that day like yesterday :pimp:

Will watch for Emilia Clarke
For her, but not the Governator?

How they in the future shooting metal bullets at walking metal robots like that gonna work :smh:
I'm gonna wait till it hits netflix

I wish arnold can go back in time and make this movie. Dude is way too old for any kind of robot role. Who'd make a robot with his age?:smh:

It's supposedly explained in the film. I think some sort of explanation is also posted in this thread already on that issue.

Yeah, I agree the part 3 was wack. Salvation was much better imo.

I'll wait for reviews before heading out to see this.

I was watching a bunch of Arnold clips on youtube and telling people I wished we clone him so he could make awesome action movies forever. The action stars and action movies are so beta in comparison.

Hard to believe dudes like Stallone and Arnold are in their 60's now :smh:

The rock is my dude but he's got nothing on them

James Cameron need to stop making movies about the blue man group and come save what he created.

the rock could've been big but idk what he was doing. i lost faith in him when did that tooth fairy movie 0]

Cmon man, jingle all the way isn't exactly a mans movie but it's now a "bad movie" classic

The rock has been in a LOT of bad movies though. Hercules is a movie I couldn't even finish

i never saw hercules thought it could've been a good role for him. at least he's got fast and furious now

Didn't need a reboot. Build off of Salvation. Too bad the bankruptcy issues derailed that trilogy.

That movie derailed that trilogy :smh:

salvation was supposed to be an R rated film. i liked it tho. been waiting on a terminator that took place in the time of machines. they did a good job setting the world of war. idk i can see some having a few issues with it. but i don't think it was bad at all. action was great.

this is a franchise that studios will just not let die. i wish they would. but hollywood is mostly money over quality. word to spiderman.

The Rock picks such crappy roles. Probably happy doing stuff like pain and gain and hercules so he can bulk up like crazy.

I think he's going to be in a dc movie, he might regret not trying to get in a marvel movie. Batista was smart in getting a role.

the frequency at which the rock is in movies leads me to believe he acts not only for the money, but for the fun of it. he's an action star, you won't see him in a drama anytime soon. and that's all right. i don't see him doing an emotional scene...doubt he can.

used to think the same thing about vin diesel...then i saw a man apart.

It's impossible to compare the rock to Arnold and Stallone or anyone like them.

Arnold's first couple of movies became cult classics, same with Stallone. The rocks first movie was..... The run down? I think?
